It’s been a hot minute since the scratching my head blog has been unleashed. I know it’s been a couple of weeks since my father passed and still dealing with the fact he’s gone.

But I still have something to say about the not so happy current affairs of the country and the world. So here it is.

Why do certain folks have an issue of Angel Rye’s shirt: “We built this joint for free!” Knowing it’s the truth when it concerns African Americans?

Why do certain folks (Church Minded) have to get attacked knowing that they have to go harder every single time in and out of the four walls?

Is going after North Korea really all that?

What’s this? Bill O’Reilly got fired from Fox News? And the station is under fire of racial discrimination of it’s black employees. Why hasn’t no one seem to realize that racism still rears its ugly head in America’s DNA? Especially at Fox News!

Stop hating on the Milwaukee Streetcar, Milwaukee. You know folks need jobs right?

Who was so glad to hear Former President Obama’s voice after all this mess of 45?

Men, when the women had Women’s History Month in March, we realize that every “Movember” is our International Men’s Month, right? Why trip?

The Republicans failed to sign away the Affordable Care Act. Why didn’t they say something to change it then 7 years ago? Oh, they were still hating on Obama.

Was Shea Moisture really that marketable to black women?

For the Serena Williams haters worldwide: she’s beating you. Why hate her and her choice of marriage, and her soon to be child? And Black Kings(and queens): let it go.

Is anyone feeling the Milwaukee Bucks lately? #FearTheDeer #DeerRun

Yo, this Eric Thames “talk” about him doing roids or juicing is nothing but a distraction. Dude was tested three times and nothing came out bad. So what is the real problem? Where are the test results?!! We speculte too much, Americans.

Can African American Men be relaunchers for Adult Internships too?

If moving out of Milwaukee is a solution to get away from violence, why do the suburban areas have issues of drug problems? And some violence issues too? My father once said, “it’s bad everywhere.”

In 2018: the midterms are coming. Midterm Elections. Can Wisco get rid of Scott Walker and David Clarke for real?

Introvert folks, are we still good?

So the State of Wisconsin has this problem of 80,000 plus jobs that need to be filled. As well as Milwaukee. And the companies all say “we need to find people.” Well what is the real problem with hiring, matching, education, training and transportation, in getting that job?

Was the “Mother of all Bombs” really that necessary in Syria?

So the Nintendo Switch is out. Who is really waiting to see if us “grownfolks” gamers can try it?

Milwaukee: you realize our 2nd MPS Alumni Reunion is coming in May, right?

I need to ask this question: and it’s for those who wished reunions. Why do many get mad about a so so class reunion that tried to happen but didn’t work? Also why get mad at all class reunions? You know you can use that to generate your class reunions right?

Why is there not enough representation for African Americans when it comes to groups like The American Legion and it’s subgroups? Note: some of them might have been or are American Legion members.

Why is Wisconsin the state so far that doesn’t do expungements?

Really Ivanka Trump? Your father is a champion when it comes to women? You know what he said to Billy Bush, right?

Question: is it a check up, or a physical? Make up your minds when going to the doctors, folks. Jeez.

Should TJ Watt be a Green Bay Packer?

In May, Military Appreciation Month is approaching. Why do we get “Veterans Day” and “Memorial Day” mixed up?

I need to ask: why did we sent our kids back to school the DAY AFTER EASTER?! Back in my day, we started our spring break on Good Friday, then the week was nothing but a break. And the week after, it was back in the classrooms. Explain!

Do folks really believe the fake news on Social Media that folks display?

Why do folks have to test the Bible in what the folks who want to say that the people are right and the Good Book is bad? Seriously.

If you are a single man with no kids and not married (Especially if you’re Black) why the barrage of assumptions from women who wanted them to have kids and a wife? Um….Last I checked: kids cost money! And many women today have gone “Independent”. Society does suck.

And the last to ask: Is the truth dead? Or just opinionated?

I’m back, folks. Get woke! Stay empowered.

Collage of The Milwaukee Version of the Trayvon Martin Rally

Collage of The Milwaukee Version of the Trayvon Martin Rally in Wisconsin

It’s my part 6 of my commentary of the Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman angle. Yes, many of us who were out on Saturday had a chance to rally outside of our Federal Courthouses in unity to let the U.S. Government know about review and maybe discard the Stand Your Ground Laws.  Or anything Stand Your Ground Related. Now many are still harboring about that the case wasn’t race related per say, and “and there’s no real racism.” Or that hot topic: “I am colorblind.” Well let me say, that once have you been in the shoes of those who have been discriminated, or if you experienced racism in another form, then you really can’t say that it’s old and done with. Speaking of George Zimmerman: I know many have seen this letter online via Facebook.  A Facebook User named Alex Fraser posted his commentary about the aftermath of the trial:

Dear George Zimmerman,

For the rest of your life you are now going to feel what its like to be a black man in America.

You will feel people stare at you. Judging you for what you think are unfair reasons. You will lose out on getting jobs for something you feel is outside of your control. You will believe yourself to be an upstanding citizen and wonder why people choose to not see that.

People will cross the street when they see you coming. They will call you hurtful names. It will drive you so insane some days that you’ll want to scream at the top of your lungs. But you will have to wake up the next day, put on firm look and push through life.

I bet you never thought that by shooting a black male you’d end up inheriting all of his struggles.

Enjoy your “freedom.”

A black male who could’ve been Trayvon Martin

Based on this, and you probably had to comment – yep it’s like dealing with a moving target. Morely like placing someone in the footsteps and say, this is what it looks like. In terms of dealing with blood on the hands. Now for those who have well: gotten over it, or telling those to get over it, I challenge those to rethink that statement. I challenge those to rethink period! The only we’ll truly be over it, is death. As in if we all die. No humanity. None. That’s when I think racism will eventually die out. Yes, the human race will continue to march on as usual as we want, but those who might be reading this in the next 20 years or more, I know that the utopia is on ice, but you BETTER understand what got you to build that utopia like this.  I was watching the Ed Show on MSNBC. And it was a question that was posted in which was asked: “Should there be a race relations class in every public school?” And most folks voted yes on the poll. I’m going to ask this a step further in asking (in paraphrasing) – Should there be a race relations class in every school? – Public, Private, Charter, Home Schools, Alternative Schools and etc. And I mean ALL SCHOOLS! All of you teachers, educators, alumni, or those that are educated related, I challenge you to take that notion to your education cirruculms and tell why this is. Not just in the wake of Trayvon Martin, but also in the wake of other similar examples that dealt with this same exact issue. In other words the schools, churches, workplaces, colleges/universities, and many other public, private, organizations that need to interject! No more hiding on this one.

Now also, President Barack Obama has asked the question of where do we take this? The main thing in my view is to keep telling our stories. Keep telling our lessons. Yes, there is a group of players coming up that don’t really see this. But I hope that the new players realize that what got them there, they have to understand that it wasn’t easy. Look at the history. Look at the archives. And that should not be forgotten, nor gotten over. This is not something that should not be kept in Pandora’s Box. I have shared my story. Many times. And I know that many have already begun, or thinking about beginning to talk. Even the President himself had to show up in front of the cameras, and the briefing room and tell his story of how he was profiled. I can’t imagine the international community hearing about this, and probably asking the president: “Mr. Obama? was it true?” This is the leader of the free world telling the folks in all countries about his commentary about locked cars, or when he was applying for State Senator, college professors, or maybe a student at Harvard, he was profiled! Many of us in the black community or some probably had said that he should have done this in his first term, or should have shown up for the State of the Black Union Address in 2008. (Summon the haterade for Tavis Smiley)  But he said it. And I don’t think he wasn’t pressured harshly. And those felt that the President was the wrong choice of talking about it. It should be the parents and families. Well let me comment: The President is a parent also. Is he not? And what is this about him being pushed? If the President was pushed to make a statement about this matter, then he had to be pushed for a reason. Think about it, when was the last time those reading this blog or others who had to be pushed for a reason? This is like saying your Easter speech back in the day and if you didn’t, spankings happen. Anybody can relate.  And the pushing part had to come from us, black community. I think back when we had to learn to hold our leaders accountable in such. Um…..does that ring a bell? Or maybe the FLOTUS had a part in that for a good reason.

Where do we go from here? – that ‘s the question that Dr. King said. Now in 2013, in the same year of the 50th Anniversary of the March on Washington, I Have A Dream, the Assassinations of JFK and  Medgar Evers, the Birmingham Church that killed the 4 little girls, and the address of Civil Rights.

Where do we go from here? in 2013 in which the voting rights act section 4 was struck down by the supreme court, having this claim about no real racism which is false, some of the communications in the African-American Community like Warren Ballentine, Michael Baisden, and here in Milwaukee, 1290 WMCS is out. But in a twist, the voices are still out there like Sherwin Hughes on WNOV. Earl Ingram has new show online called “The People’s Forum” in which you listen live at Also, yes there is Homer Blow and  And plus I failed to mentioned: The Earl Hall Show on blog talk radio.  (keep calm, he’s a family member of mine).

Where do we go from here? In a segregated city like Milwaukee and a state like  Wisconsin, that is behind on jobs, transportation, having a forced ultrasound, education slashing, Act 10 being put on a table like a bad rash, and having the Democratic party finding a new candidate to take on Scott Walker at his own game. It might happen. And on Black on Black Crime. Why did the Right Wing Media had to cringe? When the George Zimmerman Trial as we know went Not Guilty, they had to come out with “well there’s black and black crime……” They had to act like what happened to Trayvon Martin was just a myth. The Right Wing better realize that Trayvon was the one that didn’t have that right to stood his ground because of Zimmerman. Oh and the mindset of some or many is just stupid. Let’s say if one of them per say was shot. And wasn’t doing anything wrong.  *****HELLO****** I’m just saying. Yeah, I know its the right wing. A party that can’t get on board with realistic issues like this. The reason they kept saying “black on black crime” so much just to play defense on George Zimmerman. That’s just them saying in a related sense of having black friends. My take: STOP THAT MESS!

Partially, I don’t want the mentality of this new found goal to last 3 weeks or less. And yes it’s a new mentality. Senator John McCain has now called for a review of the Stand Your Ground Law. If you haven’t heard already. That’s a way to get the ball rolling. But also it has to be more to get the conversation going in a sense to get out of the boats! Speaking of trying to get out of the boats, I paid attention to Real Milwaukee this morning. Yeah, that show. I haven’t watched Real Milwaukee in a while because ever since WNOV came back, my listening pleasures have been via Milwaukee Black Talk Radio. (Plus Tony Clark is no longer with the show.) The guest on Real Milwaukee to comment and talk about President Obama’s viewpoint was Eugene Kane. Yes he still writes commentary for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and as a local columnist. Kane was very straight to the point. Bar none. A point in the segment that host Cassandra McSheapard had an suggestion about “be black for a day”. In sense of walking in those shoes of what it’s like to be in the shoes or footprints of those who have had gone through the storm and is willing to talk about it. But we know not everyone is going to try. I looked at the Real Milwaukee Facebook Page today, and as to my suspicion, there were the mostly negative comments: ranging from Obama was being a divider, stop the race cards, and had the nerve to quote Frederick Douglass. Mainly, Real Milwaukee folks who chime in on their Facebook Page had to be, yep you guessed it. Hint: it’s not black! And these are the same folks who probably feel (In the Greater Milwaukee Area) that it’s no real racism, Al Sharpton is still soft-balling with Jesse Jackson, had to bring up MLK and the quotes and thinking he’s a Republican! And had to address a crime that President Obama didn’t talk about, and so on, and so on, and so on. Let me enlighten the white audience on this. Not all of them, but the selected few who don’t understand, nor listen:  First: WE ARE NOT in a colorblind society! I don’t know where that came from nor I don’t care. I don’t see that Utopia yet being built. Second, yes most you have Dr. King on the mind and yes he was a great orator of justice. But I have to say, when was the last time you EVER done something positive beside reading “I Have a Dream?” In other words: what have you done to maintain King’s Dream? Plus he wasn’t no republican! Third: we know that the President is a busy man. We get it. Plus also he has alot on his plate. And no he’s not a Race Baiter in Chief that’s trying to divide the country. That’s most of you doing it! Oooooooh time to learn right now! As far as Al Sharpton soft balling with Jesse Jackson: Look, I may not agree with their stances of commentary, but when the Trayvon Martin case broke out all over America, they weren’t the first on the scene. Social Media started that news thing and like everyone else, we followed and picked up.

If we haven’t learned anything, we are sleeping at the wheel. WAKE UP!

America:  I have a beef.

A real beef in which I thought I wouldn’t say.

What is it about us that makes our freedoms ok when something likes passing gun laws per say don’t go through? Just today in a 54-46 vote, the U. S. Senate decided that Background Checks in Gun Sales is not worthy. OH REALLY? Not worthy of what?

I’ll bet that the NRA is probably dancing in the streets. But if I were them, I wouldn’t dancing too much. Their counterparts in the Senate have totally, TOTALLY FUMBLED THE BALL! How are these folks in the Senate are supposed to feel good about themselves when you had the folks from Newtown, and other cities rallied around the President, VP, and those in the Obama Crew really wanted this background check to happen?

What amazes me that we have background checks for folks who want to look for jobs, food pantries, health checks, transportation, community aspects and others. Even trying to get a loan, a grant, financial aid, getting into a college classroom or a College/University of all places, and alas: we don’t’ mind those at all don’t we?! But OH NO it was not the case with the gun background checks.

What was part in the defeat of the background checks was political. Look at Rand Paul. Look at Mitch McConnell, and Mark Rubio. Matter of fact look at this pic courtesy of the Huffington Post:

Check it out. Even Senator Harry Reid voted no for this. Um Nevada, you need to have a “Come to Jesus meeting” with your boy. Matter of fact those who voted no on this need to have a “Come To Jesus Meeting” as well. Can I say next year at the polls in 2014? But I’m also surprised that Senator John McCain voted yes for this.

Just today, at the White House, President Obama was not too pleased. I don’t blame him being PO’ed. It was also hard for those standing with President when he had to make that announcement just to give the bad news. Also VP Joe Biden had to hear the words “SHAME ON YOU!” when he announced the disappointment of the final vote tally. And frankly, I would be angry too. Many times on my blog, I had written about a cousin of mine back in 2002, that was murdered because of a gun. I can bet that others who were shot, or those who were shot dead felt the same that this bill should have been passed with the 90% of the country wanted a background check having to expressed interest in getting it done. This country has too many excuses of hindering it’s freedom of the 2nd Amendment. I’ve said this many times. I don’t care about the 2nd Amendment. I care about the accountability and responsibility  and apparently those voted 46 points, the NRA, and many other who like to say, “Obama is trying to take your gun!” are the real reasons why it failed. Just to what, save their skin?

Right now, if those are really disappointed, I would suggest that they write to their congressmen or representatives IN THE SENATE, and clearly tell them that they have made a mistake in this bill. Now with this: their jobs will be on the line! The old saying goes, “elections have consequences”. Well that is a given because it is what it was. President Obama said it was Round One for this, but for a round 2 might get those who said no, out of a job!

If any viewer happened to catch Real Time this past Friday, he made a candid viewpoint of the Occupy Wall Street Folks. Yes, the same folks that I commented last year in their opposition of folks going greedy. But despite that, he made two valid points about those doing this need to help register voters, and pushing new candidates to run for office.

Now this, I can respect. Hopefully this might get those engaged even more. Although its relevant of what the Tea Party immobilized their base for the 2010 elections. It also reminded me of what Bill Maher said of President Obama in comparisons of having “a little George Bush.” – Whom had horrible Ideas of tax breaks for the rich, deregulation, war and torture. But he pushed them through, or in the case for the political fans “running down the throats.” Now if the “Tea Party” mobilize the Republicans, can the Occupy Folks do the same for the Democrats? Just asking.

Oh, and one more thing that had to be asked: Where was the Occupy Movement when in attempt, to try to save Wisconsin? All of the signatures, etc. Explain!

Yep, Wisconsin. I was going to say something about this. And apparently I maybe right. So November 1st has passed and alot of us are probably happy about the Weapons Concealment Law being passed after getting stomped over the summer. Now apparently for those outside of Wisconsin already know that yes: the Badger State became the 49th state in the union to allow those to walk around with Colt Python 45’s or maybe other handguns for protection. I hope those who favor this need to pray that it doesn’t backfire! I’m dead serious in commenting. Let’s paint a scenario. Let’s say that I’m going to the store and all of a sudden I’m going to my car minding my business. Or if I’m in a elevator waiting to go to the next floor and lets say someone looks at me “very snooty” and shows a firearm. Am I backing away? Yes. Why because I don’t want anyone taking my life over some “snooty looks”  or any look in a elevator or anywhere else. I’m thinking that yeah, this gun law might feel those “law abiding citizens”  safe. But there is an underside: those who are not law abiding citizens or closely related could go have connections and get weapons too. What will that be is similar to the Wild West. I thought I would never imagine that THIS state would be stooped in order to get guns this hastefuly! I hope to God Almighty that there might be some safeguards regarding this. In other words I might go and purchase a Bulletproof vest just to be safe in the elements.  I know it’s not necessary, but in my opinion, neither is walking around with a handgun going to Mayfair Mall or Summerfest. Or to see Nyjer Morgan or Aaron Rodgers. There were times way back when that Martial Arts meant something. In this case when I was bullied in School, one of my late uncle taught me Kung Fu just to stand up and protect myself. If he hadn’t done that, I wouldn’t be here writing this blog or voicing my opinion.  I know some are tired of this comment “I’m just saying”… general.

Now I got love for Ohio. What the citizens did is something that should be a stand up truth by not giving in to a Republican tatic of eliminating collective barganing. Now this probably saying, yep Ohio beat Wisconsin in this. Not because of the game this year (which was luck). This has nothing to do with games. It’s about livelihoods. It’s about jobs. It’s about the future. Some of you may not know this, but I worked in a union shop, and some of my folks that I know personally worked in companies that had union support. Oh yes. Like I said, everyone who works 40 hours a week or more that has benefits, vacation pay, sick pay, 401k Plan and more, plus union memberships, that all came from Wisconsin. But there are those who want to take that away all because it may not mean much to those who work at the top percentage, or those support that. I’ll say this, if you eliminate something WITHOUT any futher examination of understanding, you might have confusion and chaos. Just saying. I’m thinking that now since the no vote in Ohio has reached a fever pitch, Scott Walker must be shaking in his boots. He should be. The fans should be shaking, and  also the Journal Sentinel fans who like his stuff are still arguing. By the way, it was the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that endorsed Walker last year.

So this to me is a viable strategy in my opinion, should retain the seat for President Obama in 2012. And if the others follow the model, the strategy will be the same.

Wisconsin: Look what Ohio did. And they did it well.

Oh the GOP is just full of it. Michelle Bachmann and her GOP/Tea Party Compatriots, had recently revealed that President Obama is failing the African-American Community in regarding jobs. Really? is that what this all about? When was the last time that ANY MEMBER of the GOP ever reached out to African-Americans for jobs in the last decade or so? Explain that to me. When was the last time that ANY president before Obama (and I mean BEFORE Obama) had reached out to African-Americans and having the ability to have them to seek out and complete missions for jobs? NONE. Except for Bill Clinton, in my view. Remember the bull market that struck 20,000 points?  Remember that?Hope so. Obviously, this is nothing new. Even Newt Gingrich should know better. Now for those who are thinking, this is not making a racial statement at all. Yes, the President should be out there making job possibilities and getting them to the African-American families and community. Just like everyone else. But when you really think about the barriers, this to me is nothing more that mere sham just to make us the average viewer look crazy.

After all that, it’s apparent another example of trying to make President Obama look to be a”one term president”. Why wasn’t Bush a “One Term President”? Hello Conservative base! That was your boy which I didn’t voted for. Just remember that President Obama is the President of the United States. Not just the Black Community. Here in the Milwaukee Area, there was an ad that was put out for unemployed black construction workers by Senator Lena Taylor via Facebook. Some folks got all upset for NO Reason just because a black politician trying to reach out to the African-American community. Why did she post it you asked? Just to help out. And maybe she would know how to reach out and have connections! Don’t be curious non-blacks.

Yo: do I think that President Obama should look out for the Black Community in terms of work? Yes.

Do I think that the GOP was full of it when it was lashed out? Absolutely.

Is this a prime example of responsibility on every American in this country? Always.

I want to direct this attention and to those of the right wing with this commentary of Common being a “gangsta rapper” and being invited to the white house, LAY-OFF! What is the matter? Oh, the President of the United States invites a well-known hip hop artist from Chicago, who is known for his lyrics of truth and acting, is now a “Gangsta Rapper?” This is so laughable. The only reason that the Right Wing Maniacs are saying this is again forwarding their threat on race. Yep. I said it. Since when did Common became a Gangsta Rapper? I mean for real, when? If any of the right wing folks had  a brain, they would be going back in time to the late 80’s or early 90’s and found out that this happened before. Remember Eazy-E? Now he was a “gangsta rapper”. If the rap group N.W.A. rings a bell, they rapped about surviving south central and (four letter word) the police! Ice-T, the actor/rapper we respect now, sung a song about killing cops after the wake of the L.A. Riots of 1992. And to further add – the first Bush Administration was his target to tone down the lyrics or go to jail speech. What did Ice-T do? Stopped it on his own.

Now getting back to Common. If anyone knows his music very well, (and I mean knows his music very well) it’s not related to gangsterism. Obviously, the Right Wing Maniacs don’t know squat. Do some know who Common is? Does Michelle Malkin or anyone of the so-called right wing folk ever been to a concert or a recording session that Common was featured? I know the answer – Nope. Have they ever (and I mean ever) listened or watched the poetry session that he was featured? – Things that make you go hmmmmm……Nope. All because of yet again, targeting Obama. Now to some, you’re thinking “you’re defending rap musicians going to the White House and they shouldn’t be invited because of teh things they say in a vulgar manner”. For Common, I’m happy that he got invited. I am. And I hope other hip hop aritsts would get a chance to have this opportunity not to be passed up. If Rev. Run of Run DMC were to be invited by Obama, would you hate on that? Or, would Will Smith along with Willow, or maybe MC Hammer were to be invited to the White House, would you hate? You probably would say no. But for guys like Common you would say yes. Where was the outrage when Lil’ Jon was on Celebrity Apprentice in which he helped build a house in Georgia that is related to the United Methodist Church Children’s Services? And he said that it was personal to him because of his family growing up. I don’t see the outrage coming out of that. Remember when Ludacris gave a donation to Pepsi, and apparently, Bill O’Reilly dissed him just because he says explicit content in his music.

Right Wingers or folks in general need to lighten up. If Obama wanted to invite Ice-T,  the Sugarhill Gang, Grandmaster Flash, MC Lyte, DMC, Doug E. Fresh, Slick Rick, Chuck D, The Roots, or any other Hip Hop star on the block to perform or give a donation, in the White House, I say let them! And I don’t care if it comes out of my tax dollars. That’s right I said it.

Well America, I hope you realize that time was wasted. It was wasted because yet again, the case of the Birth Certificate resurrected and today was cut off like removing the head of a snake. Well that analogy I’m using is those like Donald Trump was betting on 1000.00 in the next market. Go ahead. Admit it America we wasted our tax dollars, our livelihoods, our own stuck up values of being better than others attitude is being wasted up. This is a flat out example of baiting. Race Baiting. That’s what this is about? In my last blog about this issue, I was approached by the comment that yes Donald Trump had a right to investigate and also (this got me) that saying “birth certificate” is not the same as “official certificate of live birth”. When I see a certified copy of any document, with a stamp or a seal, it is the same as being official. Period! Hate it or love it, I don’t care. But that is how I see it. When I took a trip to my county courthouse in Milwaukee years ago, I was in search of a copy of my birth certificate so I can use it to go over to Windsor, Ontario, Canada for a chance to explore the city. And by the way , Windsor is near Detroit, and I was successful at it. And by the way, it was a certified copy mind you. I didn’t hear of the word “birther” in 1999, OK?

So let me get this straight – so saying the words “birth certificate” is not the same as “Official Certificate of Live Birth?” Really?!!!  I challenge those to rethink that again. Especially those who commented that previously.

This whole birth certificate fiasco again is nothing more than a joke on us. Us as in ordinary Americans who work hard and go to school or college. Us as in going to church every Sunday to hear the word of God and learning to be a “giving society” than a “stingy society”. We are living in a stingy era where you have to “be like this” or “think like that”. Or you have to “show this to fit in with the in crowd”. Here is another one: “You don’t belong here because you don’t have this, or you should be on a basketball court of a football field for a job.” What about this: “You should be a rapper or baller, not a executive president.” I’m going there! Don’t start saying Amen yet! Now for Donald Trump, he messed up. He knows he messed up for real. And everyone who has been on the same track knows that they messed up.  Now “The Donald” wants to pursue the President’s Academic Achievements. For what? Just to see if he failed French 101? Or is it another example of racism? If you guessed the second part you might be right. More like in the sense of prejudice. That what this is. Think about the states (Wisconsin) that gave away High Speed Rail. Saying it was a boondoggle in all. And about having a chance for Health Care Reform, the others say that it’s a “hitleresque way of government take over”. Yeah remember that tea baggers? They say that it is hard for a black man. I know this for a fact. Alot of us had to take the hard long road to get where we are. We had to put up the the racist style tantrums, all because of the skin tone. Let me highlight Congresswoman Gwen Moore. After High School, she became a single mother and was on welfare for a while. But she (Unlike Scott Walker) also went and graduated from Marquette University. Look at the mirror, and come to realization that it is an attack on President Barack Obama.  Not just because he went to Harvard, or had been a teacher. Look at him. What color is he? Yep. There are haters in the temple. All that talk about “taking our country back” is no more than a dangerous smoke screen to get us messed up.

In three months, we Americans will have another chance to celebrate 235. 235 years of our independence. And the question is, after what has happened with this birther stuff, what will we be saying to our children? Yeah, the kids. What are we teaching them? If you have a child at home looking at this, it’s time to be a better parent, and a better role model to see that this form of racism, race baiting/birther talk over a document was just nothing more than being silly. How is this is helping the country? Really. How is THIS helping America? How is this helping the poor? How is this helping the economy, our education, jobs, health care, environmental issues, safety, and many other things that we need to get this country moving? This should be the main issues that America should be on it’s mind EVERY DAY! Not this stale Birth Certificate retread!

So today, the Birthers got a genie wish. But I think the President shouldn’t gave to them. But then again, if he had to use it to tell the birthers to go to Hades and burn, I hope they get a whole lot of sunscreen. This is waste of time. It’s a waste of tax-payer money,  and just a waste of time of important issues. Get it together, America!

That’s it. It needs to stop. Over and over again for the last two years it’s has been a nuisance. I’m talking about the ongoing saga of President Obama’s birth certificate. I thought this issue was laid to rest in all, but come on. Those on the GOP right refuse to let the situation go. Including Donald Trump. What is Trump’s beef with the Obama Certificate, does it sell shoes? Really, Donald? I mean this guy went up against the likes of Vince McMahon for Gods sakes. Even to have The Apprentice going out as one of the best shows on NBC. But when he started to talk about the birther thing, and commenting on the likes of the Tea Party, I begin to wonder if this dude really changed?

In the interview with Bill Cosby, by the way he’s on point. He thinks that in a recent comment that Cosby was too harsh in all. For a guy like Bill Cosby whom most Americans I think have to respect, he was just stating his own opinion about he should run or shut up. Just like some certain politicians who want their names on the ballots so bad just to get noticed. Or this case, just to make themselves “famous”. If the birther talk through “The Donald” continues in all, it’s going to be a failure. Period.  He thinks that the Birth Certificate that the State of Hawaii is not really a Birth Certificate. More like a “Official Certificate of Live Birth.” Aren’t these documents are the same? Do they have stamped approvals on them? Come on America! Is this what The Donald has stooped to?  Talk about getting into a trap. That’s what America gets at times. Listen to something you know that may not be true but in the end, it does ring true to the fact that well, you the average reader by example were duped.

This is what our society has been consumed to. Sort of like Michael Jackson. Remember when the news broke way back when he publicly said that his skin color diminished because of the disorder. And alot of us (admit it!) thought that he bleached his skin? How on God’s green earth you bleach your skin? Never seen it! Or with that then13-year-old boy who accused him of the sexual acts in stuff.  After his death, that same person came out to tell the truth indicating it was all a setup just to get to him,  his money, and plus it was all a lie by his own father from 1993. And some folks today even still think he did those things. The truth came out in 2005 in the words of NOT GUILTY!

In regards to M.C. Hammer,(by the way he’s coming to the Milwaukee area in August)  and making those commercials. Lot of us in the hip hop community way  thought he was selling out. You know fast forward to about 2 decades later, rappers like 50 Cent were featured in Vitamin Water Commercials. How wrong we were.

Back to the matter at hand: this on-going birther talk will haunt, and I think Kill the Republicans in 2012.  This shouldn’t be on the minds of us trying to move the country forward. What should be on the minds, is lowering our taxes, cutting spending, bringing the troops home safe, have adequate health care, good schools, better jobs, having an infrastructure that America can finally get on board,  and many other things that other countries are doing, and having America being held up because of the politics.

Unbelievable. Totally unbelievable. I have to say that today, March 9th, 2011, the 14th Anniversary of the death of Notorious B.I.G. has not been good. The Wisconsin Republicans Senators voted to move the Union Busting Bill through with a vote of 18-1, illegally!  As a Wisconsinite, I am embarrassed.  Totally Embarrassed.   And I thought being booted off your friends list on Facebook was bad. (I got something to say about that. Particularly those who add on for a while then, take off 3 months later.)For those who wanted Scott Walker in office, you made your vote happen on November 2nd. But if you are a fan of Scott Walker and don’t like his politics of this subject, you need to remove that Republican Card from the wallets and purses right now! Again, this is an outrage. It is a slap in the face of the working class, it is a slap in the face of the future, and it is a slap in the face of those who have built this thing for workers who want to have working rights. Just as a reminder, that Wisconsin started this union thing. And now, it’s becoming a thing of the past. There was a comment long ago on Milwaukee’s Real Milwaukee show on how Nicole Koglin, said that those in my age group (in our 30’s) don’t understand the union stuff. Let me comment this, and I don’t care if it makes the RSS feeds. There are those in my age group THAT DO understand this! I got friends from high school that are involved in Unions, and yes they are in their 30’s! Obviously, Nicole (as good as she is) needs to learn why these things exist and must have a reason to have it. It’s been around for over 50 years. I think education needs to resurrect here.

This is what happens when you don’t vote. The black community knows this very well: If you don’t vote, you don’t count! Period. I know that for the next election there will be more voting in 2012,  but what just happened in tonight, proves it! This is also what happens when you just sit around and do nothing. So voters, we need to turnout better than this. As for the Wisconsin 14, they were described by the ex-RNC president Michael Steele as “whimps”. Shut up, Michael Steele! The Wisconsin 14 are not cowards. They are not whimps. They are not wussies.  They maybe outlaws but also courageous. The Recall comments are just now getting to the heads of voters. Will I be recalling, you bet your next blog. I’m saying this because I come from folks who have worked with unions. No matter which one. I used to be apart of the Teamsters Local 344, and I know that African-Americans the most in Wisconsin would suffer the most. In case you’re wondering, Wisconsin does have black people, and most of them do live in the Milwaukee area. At least 41% of us do work. Particularly in the Education areas. And I know first hand that this will not die out quickly. Matter of fact, remember when former House Rep Alan Grayson, that Republicans want you to “die quickly?”  That comment has resurrected. This is embarassing. This is an attempt to bust Unions, and also in my estimation, a SLAP IN THE FACE against every working person (past and present) who has fought hard to get working rights on the map. And for those who say “I’m glad they pass this thing” there might be consequences of backing that up. My opinion, of course.

Like I said in my previous blogs, the people know that the Rookie Governor Scott Walker is known for this. When he was the Milwaukee County Executive for 8 years, he made uncessary cuts that are needy. Transit, Health, the poor, and also Unions. I think the rest of the state should have done was to research the part of him that was not well known. Again, Wisconsin: I TOLD YOU SO! All of that” Brown Bag Tea Party Movement” stuff will be nothing more than a consequence of stripping collective bargaining rights. Elections have consequences. And those who made the decision, will have consequences. They will have consequences that will pay. Big Time.

For Wisconsin: bold prediction – Wisconsin WILL be a blue state in 2012. In the past couple of weeks, President Obama has been quiet about what’s going on with the unions. And for the recalls: even though that Scott Walker can’t be recalled unless he has a year under his belt. BUT those who have been in longer, they CAN be recalled. The dragon has been sleeping, but now it has been awaken.  And……..IF Tom Barrett would have been governor instead of Walker, this would not be going on right now. So again, this is what happens when your voice isn’t heard!

As a resident, I am ashamed. But now, when the ballot boxes comes, I can’t wait to smackdown my vote. Or as it now: vote up.
