There are a lot of observers who think they know what they are talking about, and those that don’t. And apparently there is a guy in Madison, Wisconsin who has been added to the list about when it comes to the flag, the anthem and also the protests. That person is Governor Scott Walker. Who doesn’t know much because due to him being a dropout.

Earlier today, this is what he thinks about the protests of the flag and anthem via the Journal Sentinel:

“My request is simple: stand for the American flag and the national anthem out of respect for those who risk their lives for our freedoms, and then take a stand against domestic violence to keep American families safe,” Walker said. “That’s something we can all agree on, and that just might help the NFL reunite with many of its devoted fans.”

Also in the Madison Times, he mentioned this statement to NFL Commissioner Rodger Goodell: ,” but “disrespecting our flag, and the men and women who have fought to protect and defend our country, is not American in the slightest.”

Let me stop right here. First of all, does governor numb nuts actually just heard himself? How is this statement in his case is disrespecting the country in terms of the protests of the injustice? Let me put this like real work in the classroom in which obviously he DROPPED OUT! This is not about the flag. This is not about the anthem and this is not about the armed forces and veterans! I had folks in my family (MY BLACK FAMILY) that fought and served under the same flag that many decorate every American patrotic holiday every year! Since when Scott Walker actually cares about black people anyway? I know I might get less likes on this, but Walker doesn’t seem to care about black folks in the areas he doesn’t care in which folks of color are dying unceremoniously by the police. If his sons were black and were driving in a nice neighborhood and a cop pulls them over with the guns drawn, what will be his reaction? Or trying to get a job with a well known company and getting dissed all because of their skin color. What will be the reaction? Oh getting dissed is a crime huh?

Obviously Walker thinks he knows, but he doesn’t. When was the last time he got to visit or talk to Wisconsin African-Americans about the concerns of the Anthem Protest in which started by former San Francisco 49ers Quarterback, Colin Kaepernick. Oh he’s the same Colin that was born in Milwaukee. The same Colin that torched the Packers twice to get to the SuperBowl. And the same Colin that is trying to get a job in the NFL again in his words of being blackballed by the league. Walker fans, stop being stupid. You and like the current President of 45land are just way out of bounds. You think that the NFL Players are hating on the Anthem and Flag? This is way bigger than this! It’s about injustice against African-Americans that we know very well. Ranging from Racism to Police Brutality. Again, when was the last time Scott Walker mentioned this? When was the last time he reached out to those same black pastors or black supporters who labeled them as being his black friends?! Oh let me go there! That white supremacy is a deadly drug! Oh and course when was the last time he actually helped out IN the Black Community on jobs, healthcare, education, financial and even transportation? It’s ironic that he has a slogan called “Open For Business” while not giving a darn about the black community.

Of course we stand up against Domestic Violence. Duh!!!!! Has he visited The Asha Project in Milwaukee? Which is a black owned organization? We know that the answer is no. But what is he doing about curbing violence against black folks in Wisconsin in which there are approximately 8% African-Americans living in the state!

Everyone who feels Walker is utterly clueless about this subject: kneel. Kneel at the Capitol. Kneel where he makes his functions. Kneel at his house in Wauwatosa. Kneel at the mansion in Dane County. And I dare kneel at his office in the State Capitol. If this dropout needs an education on why all this kneeling is common, and the reasons behind it, take freaking notes!

Even if you still have a high school diploma and no college degree and a dropout!

Grow up, Scott.

I had to set back for a few days listening to all the hoopla about the use of the NFL with ratings going down, folks burning jerseys and merchandise. And cancelling the DirecTV NFL Sunday Ticket or any NFL whatever all because many of you (you as in overly patriotic) being butt hurt about all the kneeling in protest of what Colin Kaepernick started with the protest last year. And also, a lot of you are just mad all because of a flag. Or in essence with the National Anthem being referenced with that third stanza featuring no refuge for a slave. Ok. But the fact of the matter is, many will watch football and be aware about the issues that continues to plague the nation and our lives every single day. And of course I’m one of them.

Now for those whom are black and love my blog: don’t get mad a me saying that I will watch my favorite team, the Green Bay Packers for the rest of the season no matter what and still be concerned about the ongoing concerns about black men and women getting killed unceremoniously by the badge of the police, or any other form of racism that plagues America. Now many probably asked, “You boycotting the NFL?!” “No I’m boycotting the devil!” The devils need to be boycotted everytime when you get up in the morning, wash up, clothes and shoes on, breakfast, off the school or work, taking breaks, going to classes, lunch, more work and classes, going back home, chilling, doing homework, cook dinner, get your TV show up, and going to bed and do the same routine the next day. And while all that is going on: THE DEVIL still walks! That’s what I see in this protest and hating on the flag and anthem.

When I was listening to my black radio station, WNOV in Milwaukee, there a spot in the broadcast about the Anthem with the third stanza of the slave lyric. Part of that what was summarized that many didn’t know was the meaning behind the lyric was dealing with the disdain out of Francis Scott Key being upstaged by black power! You conscious black folks waving the Red Black and Green NEED to pay attention! Of course you can think all you want, but there is always another side of the lyric that probably fueled anger out of feelings of being upstaged. That to me was behind that third stanza! Other black folks didn’t hear this angle. If you lead the NewsOne News on cable or satellite, you will keep missing the boat alot. Why? Because you didn’t research it.

Now what is it about that FLAG? The red, white and blue. The same Red White & Blue that many have on our houses, walls and folded in a triangle from a committal service. And also the same flag that was carried during the Civil Rights era when Martin Luther King was still alive. And the same flag that our ancestors whom fought in wars with the time of discrimination. It’s been said when the Delany sisters used to say: “We loved our country, even though it didn’t love us back.” Again, does that sound familiar? I’m going to say that even though that the flag maybe is “this problem”, but it’s not THE problem! It’s really how the flag was used to distract negatively or dismiss any thought of any so-called thing of getting over a thing like racism or being oppressed. The flag is not in my view, a symbol of oppression. But nooses are. Calling a black person the N word or displaying the word on a person or house is a symbol of oppression. Discriminating a person based on their sex, background, church viewpoints, financial or economic status, or being not with the cause and being called a sellout just because you come from a family that is all that with work and you’re not – SYMBOL OF OPPRESSION! I’m going there today!

For anyone who is pro-black: look it’s fine to be pro-black. In really its great to be pro-black to reflect, summarize and also recognize our ethnicity. But it is also NOT to say that if you’re pro-black you are a racist. Also sometimes, when we in our pro-blackness, we may run into problems and concerns of what we say and do. I’m not talking about the slogans, fists, clothing, headwraps, the full Red Black and Green in all. Recognizing the quotes of Malcolm X and countless others that remind us about the struggle in all. We do it everyday. HOWEVER we got to get the stories right! We got to get the words RIGHT! We got to get the training RIGHT! People will say many things, but here’s what I know: You got your side, you got their side and in the middle: THE TRUTH. And I’ll go further with Black Lives Matter that the movement is NOT RACIST! Just because I see or say or display Black Lives Matter, I’m not advocating racism. I’m advocating concerns about the news that doesn’t get much exposure that normal news doesn’t show. Bad cops doing bad shootings on African Americans. HR doing a disservice on applicants of color MAINLY BLACKS. I know because I went through it 7 years ago being dissed by Dresser Waukesha due to my skin color. True story. I’m advocating about black news stories that get covered up and doesn’t get shown like MSNBC or CNN. I’m using this as an example. And black folks, many are saying that we’re not patriotic. Oh yes we are. In a sense, we are patriotic in our own way based on labor, activism, and many others. Either you wave the Red Black and Green or Red White and Blue, it’s really in your heart! Not what you wore last night! You probably thought about the men and women who wear the uniform or Veterans that wore the uniform. If you wear a simple shirt and pants and basketball shoes volunteering for a shelter or advocating a job opportunity, voting, health concerns and ideas, banking, making a statement of opinion (as we know) or giving back to your Alma Mater that you loved so much, guess what? Part of that is Patriotism! It’s a belief. It’s a goal. It’s a purpose we seek. POSITIVELY! Not being forced!

Last year when our “Russian friends” were looking at our elections for a new President, many felt that Social Media was the harm in which fake accounts or pictures or stories were used inappropriately to divide and conquer. And also to continue to scare and spill the blood about our politics that portions of it is very stupid! And we see this mess spilled in our backyards! Lot of you are saying, “Why are you saying all of this? We know this already” Many of us DON’T KNOW! We don’t pay attention. We miss the boat on this so much. But the fact of matter is some are going to this blog or any other story that will get the info and many will ask, why wasn’t I told about this? Uh-huh, just like the things you missed in Church.

In regarding the NFL, and the issues being spilled like blood this is a mess. And it will take alot of us (ALOT OF US) to clean it up!

Part III is coming. Be ready.

For all you 45 land dwellers that got him elected last November, I hope you have rescind your thoughts today. I heard that this was supposed to be the day that the world was supposed to end, but nope it’s still here like those Cigma medical commercials about getting annual check ups from TV Doctors and Nurses.

Yeah, about the Orange head leader and his SOB comments on Colin Kaepernick. Let’s review again (NSFW or in this case, graphic words are mentioned):

Oh, Ol’ Donnie. Really? You want to see the NFL players fired all becasue of taking knees or having heads down, or just standing without the hands of the hearts during the National Anthem? Are you and the so-called supporters forgot about the use of the 1st Amendment Rights of this nation. Those same rights are found in our U.S. Constitution that celebrated another year since this past Sunday. Oh, it’s 230 years old now.. No fronting!

For you orange trump fans here: when Colin Kaepernick was doing all that kneeling last year, he was exercising his first amendment rights AS AN AMERICAN to express his disdain about the ongoing and unceremoniously getting killed for no reason by those behind the badge. And that majority are African-American. We should know this by now. This is not playing around the toy box here. It’s real serious! And you again jumped the gun about the rights. Many of you don’t have to like it, but is he obligated to state that yes he has a right to demonstrate while many of you act like idiots? Heck, my late father served this country and defended rights just like yours that did the job.

Many today had their commentary about what this so-called leader said about the “firing” of the NFL players who go against the flag. Here’s the thing folks: It wasn’t about the flag, nor about the military that served or is currently serving. It’s about the ongoing concerns about AGAIN black folks getting killed unceremoniously in the streets of the country. So what is problem with that? It’s an awareness. Period.

Also today, the Green Bay Packers had a statement to say about this so-called idea to fire those whom opppose the Anthem/Flag per se: ”

“It’s unfortunate that the President decided to use his immense platform to make divisive and offensive statements about our players and the NFL. We strongly believe that players are leaders in our communities and positive influences. They have achieved their positions through tremendous work and dedication and should be celebrated for their success and positive impact. We believe it is important to support any of our players who choose to peacefully express themselves with the hope of change for good. As Americans, we are fortunate to be able to speak openly and freely.”

This is coming from the President/CEO Mark Murphy who written this statement today. And with good conviction!

Now many don’t like the Packers and can’t stand the 13 time world champs of the NFL, but Mark Murphy shut it down. And I’ll bet many of your teams that you follow (or some what follow) are probably doing the same thing.

Even the NBA and also the MLB are taking notice like LeBron James, Stephen Curry, and Bruce Maxwell whom comes from a military family servings is getting noticed as well.

So guess what Americans? Better be careful what you wish for, because you just might get it! Just like Election Night when choosing the Orange Head over Hillary. Oh you know this. So yes 45 supporters in all, be warned! If the word gets out for impeachment don’t say I didn’t warn you!

There will be a part II. Just wait for it.

Man, some of you NFL fans need to lighten up. Like really. All along we all know that the “blackballing” of Colin has reached it’s breaking point. Matter of fact it’s well passed that. By the time many read this, most of us will be looking at the games while many of you might be having a fit thinking of him getting a job. Who also didn’t vote up in 2016!

What is it about him looking for work when you have the average African-American Men and/or Women who are scrapping up work as in trying to find work EVERYDAY due to the hate of skin color or a dumb thing of credit reports? Explain that to me.

Last night, well this has nothing to do with this, but when the Packers started their Preseason, they didn’t started with Aaron Rodgers. Brett Hundley did. And he’s black.

So in that, there was his numbers or ratings being not up to par, an injury might have been a factor, and he had this theory of not getting resigned by the 49ers.

And oh, here comes the additional theories of not standing for the national anthem and assuming that the Stars and Stripes had or is oppressing black folks or POC’s. And many from the activists and even some of our Veterans stood in support of what he protested. You even had young Volleyball Black Players and Football Players of High School, kneeled. Plus a former pro Soccer player kneeled. And some of the WNBA players, kneeled. We all know. But was it worth it? But the person you copied of kneeling, didn’t even vote. That’s one of the reasons why the 45land leader is in office and it’s like a slap in the face! We know it is. And everything that 45 or ol’ Donnie is doing to reverse the policies and ideal decisions that President Obama did in his 8 years. That is a direct slap as well.

Folks are saying that Colin Kaepernick’s angle is in line with Rosa Parks, or Muhammad Ali. CALLOUT: I don’t think so. Colin Kaepernick will never be a Rosa Parks, or Muhammad Ali! We need to be clear! Never have, never will. What they did was real. Not all about me and disguising a theory about the flag in a wrong matter. But alas: Colin said that all his protest wasn’t about the flag, nor the military. It was really about addressing the injustice about the treatment that African-Americans get every single time. And the same treatment or treatments harbored us so many times and we know it. But many believe all that protesting is about him and not really much about others.

Now last year, I written a blog piece about the National Anthem in which I commented about Colin’s protest. Well here is a review:

Speaking of that: The Star Spangled Banner. The official theme song of America. For many many years, the anthem has been played, sung at events, played in solos and many others. And there were those got criticized of the Anthem being a disgrace to those serve in uniform. But I’ll say that the Anthem is good “on display”. But the author, Francis Scott Key that made the anthem in 1812, was also an owner of slaves! The third stanza in the Anthem, which no one hardly sings by the way, spells out as this:

And where is that band who so vauntingly swore

That the havoc of war and the battle’s confusion

A home and a Country should leave us no more?

Their blood has wash’d out their foul footstep’s pollution.

No refuge could save the hireling and slave

From the terror of flight or the gloom of the grave,

And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave

O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave.

Well ladies and gents, let’s breakdown the meat of the third stanza. Now many are already saying that the stantza is racist. The words in the stanza: “No refuge could save the hireling and slave” some say that is so racist that it needs to be erased. But what did Francis Scott Key meant by this? Since he was a slave owner by the way.

 • The word Refuge means in dictionary terms as we know is related to Refugee, as being forced to cross national boundaries and cannot return home safely.
 • Hireling means: A person who works only for pay, especially in a menial or boring job, with little or no concern for the value of work. In a adjective sense: it also means serving for pay only, vernal, and mercenary. See that?

But when you put it all together in that ONE LINE: The Refugees of the slaves, our ancestors were forced in bondage, couldn’t return to Africa that had to be worked for menial jobs, with no concern for the work values of the jobs that was slave related. Henceforth: “No refuge could save the hireling and slave.”

Now that was last year, but this morning as I was listening to the radio , there was different definition about the use of words. “Hireling” in this sense was a reference to the British Soldiers and the “Slaves” was a reference to the American soldiers. There was a “stipulation” that if the slaves served under the Continental Army during the Revolutionary War, they would granted their freedom. Same as the side of the British. If the Black Slaves served under the British Crown, they would be granted their freedom. And also we know that Francis Scott Key was the composer of the Anthem, but according the radio broadcast, he was mad by getting beat by the black troops during the time period. To be clear, it was about another version of Black Power! You might listen to WNOV on the Tune-In App for that.

Now that might sound kind of strange but the thing is this version might be kind of stronger than the first definition we heard last year. Why haven’t we really heard the third stanza of the Anthem before in school?

EASY ANSWER: It was never taught to us! Just like in all the extensive history we are just now exploring about the nation and yes Black History. All that extensive history that we didn’t know about that we just found out on Social Media, IT WAS NEVER TAUGHT TO US! NOT ONE EXTENSIVE SUBJECT!

We can blame all the same old “they didn’t teach us this stuff in school in all” but you know whom I really blame in all of this? Read my lips: Blame the curriculum! The same curriculum that circulates all the lessons plans that many of the teachers will be getting for your kids in the fall.

*Sidenote: Milwaukee Public Schools will start school on August 14th and September 5th, and most schools will have Uniforms.

But seriously folks, NFL Fans: I hate to say this in all, but Colin Kaepernick is not going to save you. I hate to be a hater for the “Colin Worshipers” who was all flashy against the Packers, went to the Super Bowl against the Ravens and LOST in the blackout game in the Superdome. And a season later his numbers weren’t all to par, he was injured at one point prior, and he was 2-1 against the Packers in a game that the 49ers lost 17-3. I told you Niner Gang. All that flashy stuff came and went! He’s a heck of a ball player, and since the plays of the Pistol he started, guess what? Everyone is going to use it and rename it the Lombardi Cannon or whatever. And of course his chances of getting a job dwindled, plus having a fear of getting cut by the team, and what does he do in between: kneel before the flag during the national anthem. And again, he didn’t vote! And many of the fans whom are now just WOKE, we have a guy name of Ol Donnie in the White House. Let that sink in.

Instead of worrying about Colin and his job, again what about those who are still looking like crazy everyday? And other issues of healthcare, the economy, drinking water concerns, not enough support for the church, or many of the concerns that are more IMPORTANT about everyday values! Again, he is NOT here to save you!

It’s time. Oh yes it’s time.

For several weeks it’s been football players like Colin Kaepernick taking knees. There have been black volleyball players taking knees. High school football players taking knees. There have been other NFL players raising black fists in the air. Seattle Seahawks player Jeremy Lane sits as the National Anthem is played. And four members of the Miami Dolphins took knees as well. Plus Denver Broncos Linebacker Brandon Marshall took his knee during the anthem.

But what is this all entail? Some anti-american movement? Was there a part in school that flag etiquette was not taught? Some are asking what is it about African-Americans (per some) having a disdain of hate when it comes to the Nation Anthem and that grand American Flag that many think it’s a symbol of oppression?

Oh it’s time y’all!

Long history of slavery, racism, oppression, tyranny, persecution have plagued this country for 240+ years. Thus is not new to black folks. But if you’re that white dude or female that enjoying being overly patriotic, or assuming that racism or oppression is one and done: then maybe you need to have those seats and listen up.

How many times have I heard and seen black folks in this country feeling oppressed about a location, subject, topic, category, or non-engaged because of the color of their skin? No matter if they didn’t get the job, or promotion, or just being a regular customer, or officer of a well known company that “religiously” doesn’t hire black folks? Lots of times. And I know so because there was a time, I was discriminated of a job offer in Waukesha because of me being black. Remember Dresser Waukesha? That company.

Most of the focus was shifted on the day that most of us had to reflect: September 11th. The same September 11th as we know had the most hellacious smackdown on American Soil. When the planes struck the Twin Towers, and the Pentagon. We know how it felt to go out on a clear nice day 15 years ago, and having that to be ruined by those that wanted this country to feel being sucker punched.

 • Many of us 15 years ago had to put American Flags out to show solidarity or support that many of us really care about the well being of being “American.”
 • Many of us 15 years ago, packed the church! And the rows of pews were filled as if a funeral was taking place.
 • Many of us 15 years ago saw both the Republicans and Democrats were singing God Bless America outside of Capitol Hill.
 • Many of us 15 years ago were questioning about why we were attacked in the first place. Heck were still talking about it!
 • Many of us 15 years ago copied these words: Never Forget. – I got something to say about NEVER FORGET in my next blog.

So I guess in asking, after the booing of President Obama on the 15th Anniversary of 9/11, what is the legality of showing your so-called patriotism, or “Selected Patriotism” about this? He ain’t George W. Bush, I’ll tell you that!

Lot of folks be like, the flag though……. It’s a symbol of oppression. Others say it’s about freedom, but really? Look here, what I’m about to say that might not be suitable for the hyper conscious of black folks, but I’m going to say this. The stars and stripes on display is fine as is. Yeah I said it! You can take the flag and put it on a t-shirt and many ways. Even on a dress. But it’s only “negative” when you use it in a negative action or situation that many normally well know. The key word in this sentence is “NEGATIVE!” There is part of your symbol of oppression, black people! Remember back in school when your teacher was talking about weapons? Back in my Milwaukee Public Schools days, I had an english teacher at Jackie Robinson Middle School, telling us about weapons and how they can come into play when fights occur. When for example: a stapler is used for one thing to staple papers, but on the other hand it can be used as a weapon against another person in a playground/classroom fight. No joke! That goes for anything like Irons, TV’s or a wooden chair, or even an American Flag! If you use the American Flag as a weapon in a physical sense, then it becomes a weapon! I’m not just talking a psychological sense. Or that “Symbol of Oppression Sense.” I’m just making it clear as I say this. When I was in college, I took a US History Course and one of the things I remember about loving America, is that there was a time that the American Legion would lay the physical on you if you didn’t respond that you love America. In this case, you would be smacked senseless. No joke. But that was then.

How many white folks see the RGB Flag, or the Marcus Garvey Flag as a symbol of oppression? Or Segregation? Tell me! And there will be black folks in your face saying it’s not. The color Red is the blood. The Green is the land, and the Black symbolizes the people of the folks whom were first of Africa: black. And the reason why I asked this question, because some will respond about the American Flag being not totally racist or oppressed out of emotion. Wait a second: that’s been the whole story all this time: Out of emotion!

Let’s be honest, many of us were never EVER educated enough about stuff like this. Like what happened in all? You see other countries getting all with their sense of honor, but us folks here in the good ole USA: half of us do it, and the other half don’t do it and complain. When the Fourth of July was happening, you got many black folks on Instagram and Facebook asking “what are you celebrating?” Well I ask this: what are YOU celebrating? Clap back perhaps? Let’s be real about it! Just asking.

It’s time that this issue needs to be open for dear life! It’s also time that every single destructive act that America produced, copied, destroyed, buried, manipulated, severed, thwarted, oppressed, racially inclined, sexualized badly, religiously hacked, conscious resistance of betrayal and many other horrific things that the country weathered in its 240 year history. From the black slaves to settle in 1619 in bondage, to the lands stolen from the Native Americans. It’s time!

Something that I reminded myself when writing the My Fox Milwaukee blogs about America. If America were to admit the truth of any wrong doing, then it must come to grips of it.

Now if you’re like Kate Upton who is too blind to see that, along with her “depressing” viewpoints of the NFL players taking knees during the National Anthem, then that’s a problem. I don’t see her or some wannabe overly patriotic person telling that in the inner cities, the black communities, or any member of the Mothers of the Movement that has lost Trayvon Martin, Tamir Rice, Dontre Hamilton. Or Mike Brown. I don’t see her doing that. Better start, white chick! So with all this kneeling, it’s another form of expressing Constitutional Rights. Like many of you not going out after church to a bar. Or get drunk at a club on Saturday night. Or giving your money to Walmart or your churches financial goals!

HELLO!

Or even choosing to have your child home schooled or not. Or posing your gun on Facebook or Instagram like a joker just to get noticed. Well it’s your Constitutional right. But you better be responsible for your Constitutional rights as it progresses for your next lifetime! I say that in all things.

Hmmm….we have those type of jobs today right?

And some are making the arguement that it related to the Black Slaves going to the British side for Freedom. While many is the opposite like being force fed into menial work being in bondage for so long.

So with that being asked: Is the Star-Spangled Banner as a whole is a racist song when it comes to black folks? Just because one line in the song is considered racist doesn’t mean the WHOLE SONG is racist! Let’s be real. But it’s worth examining of asking W. Is “America the Beautiful” racist? Is “God Bless America” racist? Oh, let me ask this: Is “Lift Every Voice and Sing” the same song we sing at MLK events a racist song? Uh-oh! I went there! Now many of you are thinking, “really Stephen? Lift Every Voice and Sing is not a racist song! It’s about unity”. I know, but what about America’s anthems? Shoud they hold the real true meaning of unity as well? Without all the lines of Racism? Think about that while doing you feel is worthy of protest. It’s ok. No one is not going to say anything.

So with all the kneeling, to me it’s not about the flag in Colin Kaepernick’s opinion. Nor it’s all about those following the idea that Colin is doing. It’s all about really addressing the ongoing treatment that Black folks get EVERYDAY that is unfair, not right, and I dare say UN-AMERICAN when innocent lives are being taken everyday without notice. Even not getting the jobs without notice. Not getting healthcare without NOTICE. Not getting to the finish line like the other guys WITHOUT NOTICE! Do you see this?

Maybe I might catch hades for this, but I think many job seekers RIGHT NOW looking for work, that got disrespected either online or in person at interviews, need to boycott the companies that don’t hire black folks due to their race. That’s right I said it! I CALLED IT. The best way to combat that, in my opinion, is do what everyone is doing the least: Go into your own business. I don’t care if you use drones for retail houses for $200.00, or own your own store that is home grown. Or take pictures as a side gig at Funerals. Get your own business started and you can hire many folks you want. Or run it yourself being your own boss. And I’ll BET that those looking in will be kicking themselves in the crotch or feet wishing like for example: “why didn’t we get them (him or her) to work for us?” speeches. Mainly because the ignorance of that CEO or HR didn’t allow them to come into get picked or hired. And many of you CEO’s who are just now reading this, might be that CEO or Owner that is facing that truth like a bullet. And the same with HR’s and etc. Admit the guilt!

And yes, some of the sponsors that the players had, are now pulled. All because of the kneeling image. BUT some have come out to be new sponsors. When Brandon Marshall’s Sponsorship from the Academy Federal Credit Union and CenturyLink, of all folks, Russell Simmons the brother of Rev Run of Run DMC, got Rushcard calling for Brandon. Talk about turnabouts fair play.

So let me end by saying this. I did this when Alton Sterling passed, and I’m saying it here in the Red, White and Blue. Stars and Stripes and a strong message to relate:

SSP The Struggle Continues

Now let that take a knee to respond with the black fist up and hands over hearts.

It’s a been a minute, but I’m back fresh and new with a Three Way Dance. For this, it’s all about the three things I’ve been reading about lately. As well as everyone else.

First: The saga of the kneeling, siting down during the National Anthem of Colin Kaepernick.

Yes, the same Colin Kaepernick whom was a dominate player when running the Pistol Plays with the 49ers, member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity of the Divine 9, a guy that was beating the Green Bay Packers twice, and oh, here’s something: He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. And grew up a Packers fan. Yes, Colin was a Packers Fan when Brett Favre was running the show. In the recent Preseason game between the Packers and the 49ers, there was a scene during the national anthem in which usually every stands during the playing of America’s Theme Song. However, there was only one player who did not stand, and that was Colin Kaepernick. Colin was sitting down during the anthem. And when that shot of him sitting down was shown on pics, oh guess what: You so-called Americans had to go in on him just because he didn’t stand up. Wow. Oh, when the Niners were in their next game, he kneeled. Another Niner player kneeled also. Plus one of the Seattle Seahawks, Jeremy Lane sat on the bench while the national anthem played on. Yes, as crazy as it seems, there are those who are using the sitting and kneeling thing to exercise their constitutional right to protest about the injustices about the effects of People of Color that goes on everyday.

Now let’s talk about Colin’s thing. He says and I quote: “I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses Black people and people of color. To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder.”

That was the lighting rod. Of course that many who heard that didn’t sit well with being “OVERLY PATRIOTIC” in a sense that yes it’s about the recoginition of our military who fought, served and died for our freedoms that we dance around like Pokemon Go fans in a park. I’m just kidding on the Pokemon thing! Hey, if you like Pokemon Go, nothing against that. But what I’m saying is that the flag/anthem protest thing in athletes have been done before. Espeicially Black Athletes! Remember Mamoud Abdul-Rauf: Who was formally known as Chris Jackson before converting to Islam of the Denver Nuggets, yeah that guy. When he was with the team way back in the 90’s, he was standing during the anthem but was not looking at the flag. He was praying with his hands close to his face. And yes, there were folks were mad at him for the disrespect per se for the flag. Tommie Smith and John Carlos were famous for the Black Power Salute in 1968, but also got targeted because of their protest. Keep in mind also, that 1968 was also the year that Martin Luther King was assassinated. And segregation was still running amuck. So stuff like this is nothing new, but with those who are just now new, and being recent, you are getting a first hand education on why stuff like this happens and will appear in your textbooks. And yes, school is back.

When I was listening to the commentary about Colin Kaepernick here in Milwaukee, on the black radio stations via WNOV and other black related outlets, I’ve been hearing the callers pouring in their commentary about “Oh, Colin Kaepernick did it for all the black people in America!” “Colin Kaepernick was born in Milwaukee….” And many others. Folks in Milwaukee: I’ve mentioned this years ago when Colin was on scene with Pistol Plays, and making the Packers miss, and couldn’t win a freaking Super Bowl, what has Colin Kaepernick done for Milwaukee? What has he done? What has Colin Kaepernick done for Wisconsin? Yes, Colin Kaepernick was born in Milwaukee, but NEVER CLAIMED Milwaukee as his home! Never! His family of course moved when he was young due to high school and college. But never claimed the city as home! The late great Gene Wilder, whom recently passed was born in Milwaukee, and went to one of my rival schools: Washington High School. And yes there was a movie reference about Milwaukee in one of his films. What does it take to give back to Milwaukee you ask? Try volunteering in an area that you know VERY WELL in Milwaukee. I don’t care about the schools or community centers you know because of your childhood or where you used to hang out in finding some dude /chick for a date. If you know that Church that you go to for volunteer work, or neighborhood or whatever thing you know well in Milwaukee to go to, THAT IS WHERE YOU START! You start that and build up. Real talk folks! Yes, I see the famous folks whom were Milwaukee born, raised somewhere else, but some of them do come back to give back. Eric Benet was here years ago to make an album in the same neighborbood that he grew up in Milwaukee. He even helped served food at a local McDonalds and that restaurant was jammed pack! Tank, the R&B singer that you see on the show, Born Again Virgin on TVOne, he came back to a concert here in Milwaukee to perform. He was born here. Now I probably might in the future that I might get those “I’m sorry you were born in Milwaukee”quotes but I’m going to comment that later on in the third part of the story. But seriously folks, what has Colin Kaepernick did, was for himself. HIS constritutional right. Not for all in the black community in the country, per se!

The second dance card: The Truth of ITT Tech.

As many around the country know, yes, school is back in session. But however, ITT Tech recently has been coming under fire about their educational concerns. The recent closing of ITT Tech around the country shocked many who have gotten started or continued with their majors is disappointing and will take their educational experience elsewhere. But I’m here to tell you that my experience began with ITT Tech, was in late 1994 when I was still a Senior at John Marshall High School. They came to the school in one of my English Classes, in talking about the classes and majors and they wanted to have some insight from the students at the time. Later on, I got a phone call from one of the recruiters from ITT, a black man if you will, to have to meet me at home for a well rounded interview with my parents. The interview went well, and also giving me an overview about ITT to have those connections with Archtietture, the Military, and many others. Later after that, the school picked me of course and I was selected to come to the school for a visit. To see the classrooms and labs. The ITT Tech thing seemed very interesting. And I got my financial aid thing set up and I had to take a test to have a fit per se in getting a spot on the campus.I flunked the first test, but passed it on the second try. After I graduated from Marshall in 1995, I had a short summer rest. Real short. When June 12th came, I started the classes right away. Yep! Sure did. I wish I had taken a year off to process my brain like Malia Obama is doing now. But in between the classes, I remember taking the Bus from 41st and Capitol to 63rd and Layton which was an hour ride listing to my CD player in all. The classes I remember were lectures and labs. Success in Learning, was one of the subjects was well known. Other classes of Drafting lectures and labs, were so-so Ok. But the harder stuff was seeing the Educational Serivces Area to see how much progress was made. Most of that, was not that great. There were times I stayed after class to catch up on classwork of the draft drawings to get the extra credits, but usually that wasn’t enough. And plus I got my first MLK Scholarship in January of 1996.

So in the summer of 1996, I withdrew from the school to go to the one Tech college I know: Milwaukee Area Technical College. When I got to the MATC Downtown Campus, I remember taking their asset tests to see where I would stand in getting that extra start. Here is the thing: I took the Basic Skills Courses for ONE Semester and passed them all. Plus also, I took the Accuplaer Test on Campus, passed that to get into the Printing and Electronic Publishing Program in 1997. And that transition of that was alot more simplified than ITT Tech. In 2004, way after I graduated from MATC in the Y2K, I was already taking distance ed courses with UW-Stout. Plus when I was in one of the Teleconference Rooms before linking up with one of the classes at the time, there was talk about ITT Tech not being a good school. And I lend in my experience about what happened, MAINLY with Basic Entrance Qualifications that ITT didn’t have. One of my male UW-Stout classmates was at ITT one time, that in his experience, was his comment: “ITT Tech is Full of Sh*t.” So we got one thing common on that. But yes that was my expereince that happened in 1995-1996 in Greenfield, Wisconsin.

Note to myself: I should have gone to MATC in 1995!

In the wake of the closing, I need to ask: Should ITT Tech payback ALL THE MONEY that many were robbed of years ago? (No question is a dumb question) Especially those who withdrew years back? If anyone from ITT can read this, I WANT MY MONEY BACK! What ever was paid back then, I WANT BACK! Since you guys are closing up shop, give all the former students their free transcripts and a check. Even for those who didn’t graduate. Plus for those whom are in the struggle at ITT and having the closing of the school on you, my heartfelt sympathies. But just to let you know that your experience may have ended, but your Tech Colleges will take up the slack to help you out. For those in Milwaukee, go to MATC and finish your Associates. Or any WTCS 2 year school. If you were taking the classes for Bachelor’s Degree for ITT, I would transfer those credits to a University. Take it to any UW-School. Even UW-Stout! Yes, I said Stout. Take that! If I were you, I would consider either finishing your Education at MATC and/or a University. Manily at the University of Wisconsin whatever! It ain’t over, folks. You can begin again, but your journey is not yet broken!

Third dance on the card: The still ongoing saga of the Milwaukee Unrest.

As many of us in Milwaukee are trying to adjust to our daily lives of work, school and play, we are still dealing with the ongoing unrest that is a constant struggle we know. For all the REAL citizens whom are praying for the city from the outside, I speak as a citizen to say thank you. Keep praying for Milwaukee as well as any other city that is going through an Unrest Session that is against People of Color to go through.

First, I was reading a Op-Ed story from CNN about Milwaukee recently. But the thing was, it was coming from a former Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Journalist, Sarah Hoye. Many of us remember Sarah writing for the JS Columns way back, but what we didn’t know the most was her upbrining in the Sherman Park area. It was titled, “The Milwaukee You Don’t Know” and Sarah being the native born was on point. As I was reading her opiniion piece on the site, I was clearly amazed and shocked that she had to go through all that hate growing up. Not getting a date for the Prom or Homecoming. Being called a Nigg*r or Monkey while being hated on, and she also writes that there were those who told her that she couldn’t mount much to anything that she can accomplish and etc. Reminds me of my childhood when folks were telling me that I can’t do certain, or can’t comeback of a certain behavior problem. Isn’t that right Milwaukee Urban League’s Betty Speed and Manpower? After all, isn’t that part of Milwaukee’s problem with all the unrest of crabs in a bucket? Let’s be honest here: we still have that today! You still have black folks hating on black folks even if they were brought up in a household full of educators, and you look at a male member of the family thinking he aint sh*t. I don’t care who is reading this part, you might be that person that is doing it.And you sit behind a desk telling him this! And I’ve seen white folks do the same thing. Oh there will become a time that when your end comes, you may be BEGGING HIM to apologize or to admit of any wrong doing. Trust me, I’ve seen it and I’ve read about it. Just watch it! Later on in the article, Sarah highlights her opinion piece by these words, and I STRONGLY AGREE!

But here’s the thing: I am not sorry for being born and raised in Milwaukee.

Can anyone say “Praise the Lord!” Listen: I’ve heard folks say, I’m from the Chi, folks cheer. I’m from the MIA (or Miami), folks cheer. I’m from New York, the BK, Jersey, Philly in the house! I’m Straight outta LA or Compton, or Atlanta, and other city that folks will cheer for. Why is it that when Milwaukee is in the convo, folks had to bow their heads as being sorry?! What is this?

Am I sorry being from Milwaukee? HELL NO!

Am I sorry being born, raised, educated, worked in Milwaukee? HELL NO!

I am not sorry for being born here for any reason. Yes, Milwaukee may have punk haters who don’t give a two cents about your upbringing, like other cities in all. But there are those in Milwaukee that want to give you a chance! Even if you think you might scoot to the other cities, but there are those who will give you a chance, here! And it REALLY depends on who you know. Now some are probably are going to say, “Who in the hell in Milwaukee can help me?” Who?!

My question is: who in the hell that knows you very well in Milwaukee?

Who knows you, your family, your Alumni, your neighbors, your school where your kids play, your community center, your church, your local officer that comes by your neighborhood or church, your insurance person, your store owners, musicians, or others. Even a Funeral Director at a Funeral Home that also does communty work that YOU KNOW VERY WELL! That is what’s up. We got them here!

Even those who that volunteers or spends time tutoring your children after school, but again, it depends on who YOU KNOW! Even those who are finding jobs. Especially for city likes to take in those who have more experience than those who don’t. And those that want the skills to improve. Again it depends on who knows you! That is what it needs to figure out. Link with those who YOU KNOW that KNOWS YOU! Plain and Simple. Then from there, then you can connect with those you don’t know that expand.

Now getting back to the Unrest: I was watching a special on our local station, CBS 58 about the subject, “Milwaukee at a Crossroads”. Before I get into the commentary, review this video from the September 7th, 2016 showing. No Commercials! It’s part 3 of the special that was aired this week.

Milwaukee at a Crossroads Part 3 from CBS 58 News on Vimeo</a>.

The entire 1 hour special that was aired in no commericals, was centered around the subject of those losing their children and teens in gun violence in the past. The mother of the late Marcus Debak was on the special. Marcus was killed on a Milwaukee playground back in the mid 90’s. The mother knows the most, on how that a child like Marcus can be taken out with despair. The many other parents and Great-Aunts were sitting in the room with the pictures of their loved ones that they have lost. Everyone of them has a common story of how they were killed. Many of them believed that Guns weren’t the problem. It was the people behind the barrel that caused the problem. Most of us haven’t heard that in a while. And no, it was not about about having those right to bear arms things. And many of them had asked the same question about, how can something like this be stopped or preventable. I think it’s going to take an ongoing effort to have this to stop. We can create all the programs, the getting the church folks out, the jobs stuff all we want. Event the activisms. But WE NEED to stop running in circles in what we really want and just go get already!

As far as the orange fence around Sherman Park, I’m glad it’s down. I can understand that Sheriff David Clarke had it up to increase the curfews or law and order. But it has been going on far enough. Personally, I think the County Executive had made the right call by removing it. Of course, it didn’t sit well with all wtih David Clarke, but when the judge made the ruling about the removal, that was it! Nothing more.

Milwaukee is still in progress. In order to complete this progress, the work must be done. It will take a long time, but still it must be done!

Can I just lash out at the conservative like media? Can I really do this?

For the last couple of days, we have seen who and what Captain Ron Johnson is all about. Yes, he is an active member of the Missouri Highway Patrol and have rightfully so. Even having an act of faith in his ongoing mission of restoring new ideas and objectives in his hometown of Ferguson. So far, I wish he would have this mentality here in Milwaukee, than to deal with the likes of per say…………Sheriff David Clarke. More on that next time.

But however: What is up with the media, like CNN in all having this feeling of him being a Gang Member?!! Let’s take a look at this picture of him flashing a “gang sign”. Feel free to Google if you like.

Are we scared yet? Really are we running away like scared jack rabbits by looking at this? If so, START RUNNING!

For all those who are not familiar with signs like this, it is NOT A GANG SIGN! This sign is actually a recognizable greeting of the fraternity of Kappa Alpha Psi. An African-American Fraternity that was founded in the year of 1911. This fraternity is part of the Black Greek Lettered Organizations, or the Divine 9 that comprises of Alpha Phi Alpha, Phi Beta Sigma, Omega Psi Phi, Iota Phi Theta, Delta Sigma Theta, Alpha Kappa Alpha, Zeta Phi Beta, and Sigma Gamma Rho. Anyone heard of these fraternities and sororities? You should. Many of the famous folks in American History, particularly black folks had been and currently part of these organizations of not only partying, but also through social service in their communities.

Now who are some members of this fraternity besides the Highway Captain? I can name a few.

And by the way I am no means a member of the Divine 9.

 • Cedric The Entertainer – Actor
 • Demarco Morgan – News Anchor
 • Arthur Ashe – Tennis Legend
 • Wilt Chamberin – NBA Legend
 • Willie Davis – NFL Legend
 • Kevin Eubanks – Musician
 • Dr. Bernard Harris – Astronaut and the first African-American to walk on the moon
 • Robert Johnson – Founder of BET
 • Montell Jordan – Musician
 • Bill Russell -NBA Legend
 • Gale Sayers – NFL Legend
 • Oscar Robertson – NBA Legend
 • John Singleton – Film Director
 • Colin Kaepernick – NFL Player

Are those names are familiar? They should be.

Even though they are or were athletes, media, musicians, movie directors, sports legends, worked for space corporations in all, these names are recognizable. Even for this fraternity. This is the same fraternity in which you might see at stepshows wearing their Crimson and Creme colors, and having the “Kappa Kanes” as part of their display if you will. Plus having alot of “K’s” in their sentences like “Konnection” or “Kreme”.

So it’s a legendary fraternity. And yes I know some Kappas personally myself that do achieve every human endeavor, per their motto.

So for those who are conservative like media and thinking that mentality is bad, PLEASE for the love of GOD, do your freaking research! That was an embarrassment of not knowing the knowledge and jumping to conclusions. I do want to recommend a book for all you so-called smart folks. It’s called “The History of African-American Fraternities and Sororities – The Divine Nine.” The author’s name is Lawrence C. Ross, Jr. A Black Divine Nine author if you will. And yes, the Kappas have a website for information. As a matter of fact, the other 8 Fraternities and Sororities in the Divine 9 have websites and yes they are on social media.

So again, what’s the excuse?

As we know, yes the Packers season had ended this week. In a nail biter, close game to the now new reformed San Francisco 49ers. We get it. Even the Colin Worshipers get it. But before I get to this letter, I’m going to repeat these words in letter with the highlights: yes the 49ers got the Packers number, for now.

Dear 2013-2014 Green Bay Packers:

It’s me Stephen, yes I’m an Observer/Fan of the organization and a black blogger in Milwaukee.

We know. We know. The whole nation knows.

Yesterdays lost in the elements also asks us where do we go from here? In a sense of talent and health. Knowing the fact that yes, it was almost so close to get the 49ers and move past the “Niner Empire” per say and move on to the next round of the NFL Playoffs. But we know, we know. And yes, yet again the Milwaukee born Colin Kaepernick proved once again that yes, I will say it, he got another number of the green and yellow. FOR NOW! Sooner or later. I’ve seen it with Michael Vick 10 years ago, he came in with the Atlanta Falcons and kicked butt in Lambeau, in the elements, against the then-Brett Favre led Green Bay Packers. For you the, “Colin Kaepernick Worshipers”, this isn’t new. Michael Vick was scrambling like that way before him. So yeah, I’ve seen this before. And like before, the Packers will have to adjust to the new way of getting and slowing down mobile QB’s with the Pistol, Gadget, or whatever kind of plays they do now. More like copycats.

Us fans and observers know about having numbers before, I mean “we still own Detroit” since 1991. Cincinnati owned us for years in their own backyard. So we know about being “owned” on both sides. Yeah, us Backers/Observers will still hear that until that one day, that number will be busted up.

On the flip side, I think the whole season wasn’t that bad. Could have been more improved with the management game play, and keeping injury free. And the plays should have been more improved, but it wasn’t that bad to me. Not ashamed. Yes the part of Aaron Rodgers being injured in the first Chicago Bears game, came a screeching halt, but he came back to beat the Bears to prove a point to win the NFC North Championship. By the way, “We run the North!” The same with Randall Cobb coming back. The almost same with Clay Matthews. But also, I have to say I’m very impressed and feel bad for Eddie Lacy. Yes, he was a rookie. But he was learning. Next season, I think that Eddie Lacy will be more focused and more determined in getting it than his first season. Randall Cobb went through it. Also Datone Jones will be a force to be reckoned with. Just wait, NFL.

Speaking of that, there are those who are antagonists who are still saying, and many on Social Media or others who probably said, or just saying this. And I’m going to paint this in a preliminary stance:

Example 1: LOOK AT THE SLACKERS AT LAMBEAU!!!! GETTIN’ Beat by the 9ers AGAIN! HA!!!!!

Example 2: REALLY PACKERS?!!! WOW!!! AND IN YOUR OWN BACKYARD WITH THE ELEMENTS. SMH!

Example 3: The 9ers have the Packers Number. YET AGAIN!!!!!!!!

Example 4: The PACKERS STILL SUCK!!!!! CAN’T HANG WITH COLIN!!!

Example 5: The Cheeseheads got whipped again. I told you Packers!!!! STOP DREAMING!!!!

Oh, I can go, on and on and on. And by the way those who are opposing teams of the Packers, you probably said these things yesterday. What I have done here in these examples, was like a preliminary preview. Just like when President Obama laid out previews about what to look for in the commercials when the opposition was gaining ground with Mitt Romney. But Obama still won. He was telling us ahead of time. So yeah, I knew yet again that the antagonists no matter if you live in Wisconsin or not will have something bad about a legendary team like the Packers. And I’ll bet that yes, that the folks who antagonize the team, is either a fan of a team that is not in the playoffs, a poor record, or just that – Haters. Sort of like politics. Yes I know it all in fun. I mean Roland Martin says Hate the Cowboys alot on his Facebook Wall. And speaking of the Cowboys, that game against Green Bay with the then-Matt Flynn led crew was a classic. Admit it Cowpokes. So yes, there always haters, jokers, players, who just do that. But hey don’t they have something better to do?!! It won’t last long anyway. FYI. And there are those who can possibly say, I don’t like the Packers as much, but I respect them as a legendary organization.

Where do the Packers go from here we ask? I say this:

1) Get the Offensive line revamped! AND PHYSICAL!

2) The DB’s need to fine tune themselves for improvement.

3) STAY HEALTHLY! Another reason why the 9ers won.

4) Better execution. I like the “Randall Cobb/Aaron Rodgers” Cobra Package Play. Make it more poisonous!

5) WR’s – Need to work on catching the ball. I know it’s a fundamental but still pinpoint them. Jordy Nelson is a positive playmaker. And as far as the next man up, they have to learn the game also. Jarrett Boykin wasn’t that bad, but still he needs to peek in more in the absence of Jermichael Finley.

6) Defense: GET PHYSICAL! Most of these teams are getting hard hitting. Claymaker is one guy. BJ Raji is another. Ryan Pickett, and Johnny Jolly are others. But who else can step up? Speaking of Johnny Jolly, I’m happy for him making his transition to get back to the NFL. Not to many can do that.

7) The Running game has been decent. But along the way, keep it moving! With the combo of James Starks and Eddie Lacy I say keep them both. But as usual, Dujuan Harris and Jonathan Franklin shouldn’t be forgotten.

And the final thing to improve: CLOCK MANAGEMENT! With all due to respect to Mike McCarthy, there were some Clock Management Concerns. Work on it, coach!

As far as the season, well despite of the losses to San Francisco, Cincinnati, Chicago, Detroit, Philly, NY Giants and others, there were positives against Washington, Minnesota (with a Tie) Detroit, a comeback win Chicago, Atlanta, and Dallas. So I’m going to say this: It wasn’t that bad, but like anything else like a Sagittarius on a bad day, just keep aiming the targets. Plus also that game of thrones thing with the “Winter is Coming” theme, not bad. Plus I like this for next season: #respectthelambeau.

Sincerely,

Stephen

Green Bay Packers

Green Bay Packers (Photo credit: Mike Morbeck)

Let me get this off my chest: Blackouts, Smashouts. Really?

This sunday, the Green Bay Packers will be in a WildCard Battle against the San Francisco 49ers. Yeah, those same 49ers who have a Milwaukee Born Colin Kaepernick Quarterback that made his name for himself as a dark horse twice against the Pack. But this Sunday, the Milwaukee Born Niners QB is going to get a cold homecoming Frozen Tundra Welcome when he and his crew visit Lambeau Field. Yeah, I want to the Packers to get the W and get the wall of the Niner Empire out of the way. I know, that yes the lost of Week 1 and last years playoffs really caught an eye opener. Look at it this way, the Packers and the NFL and even their rivals now know who Colin is. Yes, he is Milwaukee Born, but the Niner fans probably and really don’t care about where he was born, they want to see a football battle. Do I care that Aaron Rodgers is a Chino, California born citizen? Absolutely not. I want to see a battle at Lambeau! Wind Chill – Ice Bowl – Temp in the negatives – hey let’s get it!

If Colin Kaepernick per say played in the Green and Yellow at QB, let’s just say the Packers would be at a point where the Niners are right now. Think about it.

Now let me get this out of the way: the last time the Packers (NOT SLACKERS!!!!) had a blackout for a game and many of you were probably born around 1983. It’s been about 30 years since a blackout happened for Titletown. And it was against the Rams. Keep in mind it was 1983 and no I wasn’t a Packer/Observer fan yet. That took me years to get that far. Now if the blackout were to happen by the due date of Friday, January 3rd, then no one here in Milwaukee, or anywhere else in Wisconsin wouldn’t be able to see the game. BUT ALAS! What about the Radio? I mean I read the news about the TV portions, but NOT the radio portions. Here in Wisconsin we got 620 WTMJ. Yeah that station that carries Charlie Sykes and the Right Wing mess. But I only listen to them only when the Packers are playing when the Church Services are over after 1:00pm. And plus, NFL.com updates scores online. So, this Packer/Observer fan IS NOT WORRIED about a blackout! If there is one, I would not worry. If the blackout doesn’t happen, then I’ll leave it alone. Oh, if those of us have those Apps, use the Tune-In app and find the station WTMJ.

So with that, I guess us Packers Folks will have to get informed a little of the old school and new school: Radio and Twitter. If a blackout occurs.

Go Packers!

Oh, yeah to the Anti-Packer folks who just don’t like them, let me say as a backer; this if your team has not WON more than 10 Championships, and if your team is one of those “gadget teams” that don’t care about tradition: HUSH! I don’t care what the team is. If your “gadget team” does win a LOMBARDI, then they’ll get my respect. But for now, end of discussion!
