We knew that today is Labor Day to honor us folks who work like everyday. And to the volunteers that just come and work out of their time.
While many of us were having a good day on the day off, the phrase that “Black folks built this country” is a real statement. How so you ask?
The Root did this video clip on a highlight of the history of Black workers in the country. Even a first Black Labor Union!
To my non-black readers, many of you might get angry reading this, but like it or not, this is the truth.
