Man, some of you NFL fans need to lighten up. Like really. All along we all know that the “blackballing” of Colin has reached it’s breaking point. Matter of fact it’s well passed that. By the time many read this, most of us will be looking at the games while many of you might be having a fit thinking of him getting a job. Who also didn’t vote up in 2016!

What is it about him looking for work when you have the average African-American Men and/or Women who are scrapping up work as in trying to find work EVERYDAY due to the hate of skin color or a dumb thing of credit reports? Explain that to me.

Last night, well this has nothing to do with this, but when the Packers started their Preseason, they didn’t started with Aaron Rodgers. Brett Hundley did. And he’s black.

So in that, there was his numbers or ratings being not up to par, an injury might have been a factor, and he had this theory of not getting resigned by the 49ers.

And oh, here comes the additional theories of not standing for the national anthem and assuming that the Stars and Stripes had or is oppressing black folks or POC’s. And many from the activists and even some of our Veterans stood in support of what he protested. You even had young Volleyball Black Players and Football Players of High School, kneeled. Plus a former pro Soccer player kneeled. And some of the WNBA players, kneeled. We all know. But was it worth it? But the person you copied of kneeling, didn’t even vote. That’s one of the reasons why the 45land leader is in office and it’s like a slap in the face! We know it is. And everything that 45 or ol’ Donnie is doing to reverse the policies and ideal decisions that President Obama did in his 8 years. That is a direct slap as well.

Folks are saying that Colin Kaepernick’s angle is in line with Rosa Parks, or Muhammad Ali. CALLOUT: I don’t think so. Colin Kaepernick will never be a Rosa Parks, or Muhammad Ali! We need to be clear! Never have, never will. What they did was real. Not all about me and disguising a theory about the flag in a wrong matter. But alas: Colin said that all his protest wasn’t about the flag, nor the military. It was really about addressing the injustice about the treatment that African-Americans get every single time. And the same treatment or treatments harbored us so many times and we know it. But many believe all that protesting is about him and not really much about others.

Now last year, I written a blog piece about the National Anthem in which I commented about Colin’s protest. Well here is a review:

Speaking of that: The Star Spangled Banner. The official theme song of America. For many many years, the anthem has been played, sung at events, played in solos and many others. And there were those got criticized of the Anthem being a disgrace to those serve in uniform. But I’ll say that the Anthem is good “on display”. But the author, Francis Scott Key that made the anthem in 1812, was also an owner of slaves! The third stanza in the Anthem, which no one hardly sings by the way, spells out as this:

And where is that band who so vauntingly swore

That the havoc of war and the battle’s confusion

A home and a Country should leave us no more?

Their blood has wash’d out their foul footstep’s pollution.

No refuge could save the hireling and slave

From the terror of flight or the gloom of the grave,

And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave

O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave.

Well ladies and gents, let’s breakdown the meat of the third stanza. Now many are already saying that the stantza is racist. The words in the stanza: “No refuge could save the hireling and slave” some say that is so racist that it needs to be erased. But what did Francis Scott Key meant by this? Since he was a slave owner by the way.

  • The word Refuge means in dictionary terms as we know is related to Refugee, as being forced to cross national boundaries and cannot return home safely.
  • Hireling means: A person who works only for pay, especially in a menial or boring job, with little or no concern for the value of work. In a adjective sense: it also means serving for pay only, vernal, and mercenary. See that?

But when you put it all together in that ONE LINE: The Refugees of the slaves, our ancestors were forced in bondage, couldn’t return to Africa that had to be worked for menial jobs, with no concern for the work values of the jobs that was slave related. Henceforth: “No refuge could save the hireling and slave.”

Now that was last year, but this morning as I was listening to the radio , there was different definition about the use of words. “Hireling” in this sense was a reference to the British Soldiers and the “Slaves” was a reference to the American soldiers. There was a “stipulation” that if the slaves served under the Continental Army during the Revolutionary War, they would granted their freedom. Same as the side of the British. If the Black Slaves served under the British Crown, they would be granted their freedom. And also we know that Francis Scott Key was the composer of the Anthem, but according the radio broadcast, he was mad by getting beat by the black troops during the time period. To be clear, it was about another version of Black Power! You might listen to WNOV on the Tune-In App for that.

Now that might sound kind of strange but the thing is this version might be kind of stronger than the first definition we heard last year. Why haven’t we really heard the third stanza of the Anthem before in school?

EASY ANSWER: It was never taught to us! Just like in all the extensive history we are just now exploring about the nation and yes Black History. All that extensive history that we didn’t know about that we just found out on Social Media, IT WAS NEVER TAUGHT TO US! NOT ONE EXTENSIVE SUBJECT!

We can blame all the same old “they didn’t teach us this stuff in school in all” but you know whom I really blame in all of this? Read my lips: Blame the curriculum! The same curriculum that circulates all the lessons plans that many of the teachers will be getting for your kids in the fall.

*Sidenote: Milwaukee Public Schools will start school on August 14th and September 5th, and most schools will have Uniforms.

But seriously folks, NFL Fans: I hate to say this in all, but Colin Kaepernick is not going to save you. I hate to be a hater for the “Colin Worshipers” who was all flashy against the Packers, went to the Super Bowl against the Ravens and LOST in the blackout game in the Superdome. And a season later his numbers weren’t all to par, he was injured at one point prior, and he was 2-1 against the Packers in a game that the 49ers lost 17-3. I told you Niner Gang. All that flashy stuff came and went! He’s a heck of a ball player, and since the plays of the Pistol he started, guess what? Everyone is going to use it and rename it the Lombardi Cannon or whatever. And of course his chances of getting a job dwindled, plus having a fear of getting cut by the team, and what does he do in between: kneel before the flag during the national anthem. And again, he didn’t vote! And many of the fans whom are now just WOKE, we have a guy name of Ol Donnie in the White House. Let that sink in.

Instead of worrying about Colin and his job, again what about those who are still looking like crazy everyday? And other issues of healthcare, the economy, drinking water concerns, not enough support for the church, or many of the concerns that are more IMPORTANT about everyday values! Again, he is NOT here to save you!

As many already know, the 2016-17 Season of the Green Bay Packers had its turn. But didn’t win the NFC Championship. This season was started out as slow as usual, but then got hot in December. They also rebounded with winning the NFC North Championship, a surprise rebound of their running game, defense had a thin concern of banged up injuries, plus a new thing called “run the table”.

So with that, here is my blog letter to the 13 time world champs and 17 time division champions Green Bay Packers.

Oh, it’s been a while, but I do my best!

Dear Green Bay Packers,

It’s me Stephen. A black blogger by hobby and still one of the fans that still supports.

First, I want to say thank you for a season that can run the table. Now  I know that you had your vacation started after the NFC Championship loss to Atlanta. I should say the same Atlanta Falcons team that NOW knows what you felt after losing big period. It’s not a good feeling to lose we know, but as I look at the entire season, there were positives.

And yes I like the idea about Ty Montgomery was used as a running back most of the season, Davante Adams improved EVEN MORE THIS YEAR, and Jared Cook was used as a weapon in Aaron’s arsenal. Plus we know that it was expected that Jordy Nelson was making that improbable comeback this season, EVEN WITH BROKEN RIBS! Not too many can’t do that.

For the Defense: well…..the defense needs to be less exposed for next year. I know that many or some may not be back in the 2017-18 season, but for those whom are remaning can certainly improve to be more combative in the upcoming season to be.

I know that the NFL Draft is coming up and plus there will be picks that might linger in the weak spots in the future spots in the D. Might I make a suggestive idea? I want to hear this: “For the first pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, the Green Bay Packers select……………TJ Watt from the University of Wisconsin”. CAN YOU PLEASE MAKE THIS HAPPEN?! Think about it. We know he’s JJ’s and Derek’s brother. And when TJ was playing with the Badgers, he was a beast as a linebacker. So for example, if Nick Perry gets traded, or Julius Peppers decides to retire, get TJ Watt just in case! Also the Cornerback/Strong Safety points MUST be stronger than this season. The opponents of other teams exposed the positions and that was part of the downfall. They need to make the safety points very improveable  to be not very exposed a lot. Micah Hyde and Morgan Burnett can’t do it by themselves. And neither Damarious Randall. But I’ll bet that Damarious will improve by next sesason standards to be a strong CB. Plus it could be a revived point for Ha Ha Clinton-Dix.

As well as the season, well let me say this: I had some predictions that Jordy Nelson will be a comeback. He did. I predicted that the Packers will take back the NFC North Title. They did. And had a decent record of the Season, in which it was hard, but they did. As for the Playoffs: Finally got the Giants off the back, and dealt with the Cowboys in a win in their house!

And as far as Atlanta: after being torched twice by a team with “buzzsaw potentials”, yes it does make you humble. But look, now they have to be really humbled because the New England Patriots made them look foolish in the Super Bowl with that comeback!

Finally, as I close: I want to give a special shout out to Sam Shields and James Starks. As many already know that they have been cut in the now offseason. They were both a boost for the Running Back and Cornerback positions. And helped the Pack in getting a Superbowl win in Dallas back in 2011. To those who like to hate the Packers: hey we hate you too! But in a respectable manner. Just remember who owns more NFL Championships in historical history! So yes of course that the Packers will take a vacation. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Packers will reload with new talent and revised talent to Minneapolis via SuperBowl 52.

Sincerely,

Stephen

This seems to be the talk of the town:

“Aaron Rodgers is off!”

“His game is off.”

“He’s not the same.”

Oh we know it’s the talk of the town.

We’ve seen the lost when the Packers had on the Old School Jerseys at the hands of the Dallas Cowboys at Lambeau. And also, previously at Minnesota in their new arena. But many are still asking and wondering why Aaron Rodgers’ game is off with the Packers O Line.

Before I get into that ask yourself these questions:

How many times has Joe Montana been off?

How many times when Michael Jordan’s game was off?

How many times when Kobe Bryant’s game was off?

How many times when the likes of Walter Payton, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird ALL HAVE BEEN OFF their games?

How many times has Wayne Gretzky’s game in Hockey was off?

What about Gabby Douglas, or Billie Jean King, or Venus or Serena or any other athletes that have been off?

Can anyone tell me why?!

Why I am saying this you ask. It seems that oh boy “Aaron has a problem being off.” We’ve been off to, so what? I’m saying is that right now, it sucks. Of course. But why is it sucking?! At this day and time?

Yes, I’ve looked at the Dallas game, and yes Aaron was at times on his game but not fully on his game, and that was exposed. I get it, Cowboys Nation. But guess what, it’s going to happen to Dak Prescott sooner that later. Bank on it!

Before I get into that ask yourself these questions:

And you’ll be asking the same question. Colin Kaepernick has been off his game, and no it’s not because of him taking knees in protesting the Anthem. The other teams with potential profile players have been off too, but like many they are asking why.

Ok, back to Aaron Rodgers again. Yes, he probably already knows in his brain that his precision on the field, along with judgement is clouded with mistakes. He already knows it. As a matter of fact it’s been kind of known in a few years. Remember when Brett Favre WAS OFF HIS GAME, Packer fans? Oh we booed him, calling for his resignation to be traded or left behind with the 16 year reign in the Green and Yellow. But majorty of us in the Packer Nation still liked him anyway! Even he went to the Jets and the Vikings. Let’s be honest, what Aaron Rodgers is going though of “being off”, is the same thing that many football quarterbacks had gone through with their careers. We already know this. Why is this new? Was Bart Starr or Don Majikowski off in their Packer days?

So I say this as a “DieHard Packer Observer Fan” I want to give 3 words to Mr. Rodgers as well as the players on all sides of the ball: Careful. Precision. Judgement. On Offense. On Defense. On Special Teams. Manily this is for Aaron and no it’s not to blame on Olivia Munn. Plus I dare say for Mike McCarthy!  And about this jink that when Favre is around, it’s a problem. Technically it did happen when he was being honored by the Packers last year on Thanksgiving, and yes the Bears beat them in all the celebration. And the same thing happen this year as well. Can the old Gunslinger stop jinking ARod? Dang! I know this is silly of being in the 21st Century and having all this curses and Jinks. Only main reason why they stay it’s still around its all mindgames. Plus getting in the head of the opponent and signaling that it will never happen. Oh, the Chicago Cubs are in the NLCS and still the Billy Goat Curse lives. The only way the Cubs would “reverse that Goat Curse” is to do one thing: Win the World Series. Just like when the curse of the Bambino was lifted off the Boston Red Sox.

But what does have to do with Aaron Rodgers? Frankly, nothing. But the one thing that the December 2nd Sagittarius must break through is the slump he’s in. Get out of the funk. Enough with the though he’s off comments!

So the Packers are not dead yet. It’s still 10th month like the almost mid-season of the NFL.

G’s up Cheeseheads! We’re still in this thing.

Aaron is off. But he can climb back on to the Football thing he knows with new needed upgrades!

What was that word that Aaron said last year? R-E-L-A-X.

This year, Ty Montgomery said CHILL! CHILL! CHILL!

So RELAX and CHILL!

#GoPackGo!

Looks like mood of the Packer nation has been night and day. From 6-0 to about 1-4 in total of being 7-4. The last two games should have been winnable against the still below Detroit Lions, whom have now been officially been caged free after being held down at Lambeau for 24 years. And…..REALLY?! The Chicago Bears on the same day of Thanksgiving. The same occasion in which Brett Favre got his jersey number retired. Ok enough of that. And me puking in my toilet. But seriously, what is up with the Pack? No team shouldn’t be 7-4 while going  (possessively) to a potential Super Bowl. Now don’t get me wrong that yes, there have been teams that mostly started out “super” and don’t hardly get at much. Clearly, the Packers are no exception. And for the record, I’m not just a Packer Backer Fan. I’m also an Observer. I see all the good, bad and ugly. Needless to say, they are still my team. No bandwagons. No wannabees. And most def I’m not one of those who live in Wisconsin and be a fan of those who against the pack. No perpetrators in my house!

So from my “Observer” standpoint what needs to be done to mend the damage that the Packers have received? I’ll get to that in a moment.

According to NFL.com’s NFL Now they recently highlighted 3 fixes that the Packers need to have.

  1. Fixing the Passing Attack. I’ll agree that the passing attack is not as sharp. They need to resharpen their attacks with some new tricks to the arsenal. James Jones had NO (And I mean NO) catches against the old school rivals at all. And no, don’t blame the hoodie.
  2. Eliminate the Big Plays. Well to a point not really, but in this case they should make passes underneath. Almost like wildcat/screens like. We already know that Jordy Nelson is not playing. WE KNOW! But you can win games by lessing the big wide plays and just use the cherry picking plays just to get the offense started up. The more they do that, the more they get a chance for YAC’s.
  3. Protect The House. This is a hard thing to do, but you know what, The Lambeau Mystique must be revamped. Not just what it was, but what is should be: A PLACE OF FEAR FOR ALL OPPONENTS! Back in old days, Lambeau Field was a place of Blitzkrieg! And it can be yet again. The Get Loud Lambeau thing, I like it. We need to be loud as hell. But also very intimidating to those who dare to step in and mess up 1265 Lombardi Ave. No more of those soft crap stuff! It’s best to go hard.

Even the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel has some ideas or comments:

“In the case of the Green Bay Packers offense, complexity has been something coach Mike McCarthy has been able to build on because of an elite quarterback, a veteran offensive line and lots of experience at wide receiver.

Over on the last five games — even in the 30-13 victory over Minnesota — there have been so many miscommunications, misfires and blown opportunities that the Packers offense almost resembles something completely foreign.

Typically in the NFL, the reaction to such play is “get back to basics.”

Also this from the QB himself: “But yeah, at times you think about being more basic if you’re having mental errors. That’s probably the disappointing thing. You’re late in the season now, and we’re having way too many mental errors.”

“You either got to figure out what you’re doing all the time, or you have to go to more basic stuff. We’d like to not be as basic and have guys not have any mental errors.”

Now here are my things that should fix the Packers:

  1. There have been some news about the team playing Video Games. REALLY! Cut that off! You are not going to win games by playing Madden all day. If those on the squad see all those plays they do on Madden, why not ON THE FIELD with better judgment! Come on guys! VG’s are not active simulators in real life as much!
  2. Davante Adams needs to wake up! Look he’s a good WR. But his open plays have been stunk alot. Davante needs his mojo revamped. Get open and just make plays to score. If not, I hate to say that maybe Jeff Janis might be the next man up for the spot. Who knows that maybe Jeff Janis will be the next man up. Speaking of Jeff Janis, keep him in the backfield returning kicks in case Micah Hyde couldn’t do it all.
  3. DB’s DB’s DB’s Now I see that the DB’s are working, but not enough. The rookie Damarious Randall can’t do it all.
  4. The O-Line needs hardcore Penetration for A-Rod protection. What for you ask? Not letting more sacks on Aaron to pile up like a mountain. Plus also the running game needs to be improved. Now, look stop all this talk about Eddie Lacy being fat and can’t run the ball. He can run. He can play.
  5. Speaking of Aaron: yes I’m putting him in this also. I still like this December 2nd Sagittarian. First: Get the mindsync of Jordy Nelson off the brain. We know. It’s a mindset that is distracting. Second, make judgmental decisions. Matter of fact better judgemental decisions! Now the defense of the other teams are taking notes and scripting what the Packers know. The Packers need to be extra ahead of their opponents in order to generate more wins. That would be like, the Packers taught the NFC North about evil. But not what the Packers know! And it’s starts with the QB. And Aaron needs to be more “RELAXED” than frustrated. And scared. Get it right Aaron. You’re not dead yet!
  6. Playcaling: Oh here we go! We all know that Mike McCarthy is not calling plays this year but Tom Clements is doing the second coaching. The playcallers need more schemes to improve. And this includes Dom Capers!  The playcalling have been well, “predictable”. Mix it up. Or maybe get someone who actually can advise plays of what the players can relate. Need to go back to the ol’ Kevin Green Playbook and get hardcore. Just saying.
  7. D-Line: GET AGGRESSIVE! And plus since some of the players got Beared up in Chicago, it’s time to upcoming likes of Jake Ryan and Jayrone Elliott to finally get more exposure. Yes, I know that the Vets are in the first peg, but still get those dying a chance to play with more ruthless aggression!

Yes they are struggling, but like with any struggling team, they will get better. They have to. No time to think about what should have been, but what it should be. And plus they need to be more back to basic of what they know best to be that competitive. With upgrades! But hey, the Pack is still the team of potential. In the words of the “Pack Daddy”: G’s UP!

So to the 13 time Champs: Get it together! We diehards and real Packer Observers are still with you for the long haul!  No wannabes allowed!

Ok Packer fans:

We were told from the QB to be reminded of five letters here: R-E-L-A-X. Relax. Right?

Hear me out.

Now it appears that our starting QB has been “scared” in the last couple of games that resulted in losses to Denver and most recently, Carolina. I got something to say about those teams and QB’s of Peyton Manning and Cam Newton: LUCKY. All there is.

Now what is this about Aaron Rodgers being scared in a Football game? And I’m sure that the fans of the teams that root against the Packers are just laughing. Those guys who root against the Packers are probably Perps. Perpetrators. Or creepers. They don’t really have a team to root for. All they care is about being on bandwagons. Me on the other hand, I am not a bandwagon fan. I am a real Fan/Observer of the 13 time NFL champs. Period! Shoot, I’ve seen Brett Favre scared in various situations of getting the plays for the football to come out. Don Majkowski aka The Majik Man, probably got scared at times in his gamedays. Was Bart Starr ever scared in his gamedays? Probably so. For you Bear Down Chicago Fans, believe me Jay Cutler is scared. Russell Wilson, Colin Kaepernick, Alex Smith, Drew Brees. and all those NFL Elites at QB are scared too. Just wait. And Cam Newton better be afraid if he and the Panthers don’t pony up that Banner in Charlotte! Listen, for you Carolina Panther Fans, you should be concerned about your players acted a fool per say, about ripping down a “North Carolina Cheesehead” banner that was made by some residents down there who root for the Packers. And you got “role models” on your team. REALLY?!!  And you should realize that NOT EVERYONE in NASCAR country does not follow your team! Plus Cam Newton does not own whatever stadium you team plays in. What is the name again? Some bank name……To quote The Rock: IT DOESN’T MATTER!

Carolina, your team has been around for 20 years. The Packers: 1919. 96 Years. And in those 96 years, the teams has had more heart, heartaches, passion, slumps and many others that you can shake a stick at. And did I mention that they won 13 (count em) 13 NFL Championships?  Better learn young Panthers.

But about Aaron: Look, what I’m trying to say is every QB is going to feel the pressure. The insanity. The unexpected. The blitzes. The feeling of getting INT’ed. The feeling of throwing the charts and tablets after a play that was good but garbage. WE KNOW!

What I would say to Aaron: Look here, #12. I get your scared. It happened to those who have been in your shoes. But I’ll bet those guys probably had the shiznit kicked in them and something or someone woke them up say this: The devil is a lie! Aaron, you’re not dead yet. Keep playing. Show the teammates and your bitter enemies that you might be scared, but you are yet brave to weather the storm and get the job done! And I understand that Jordy Nelson is not playing with you this season. I get it. But I know that Jordy does NOT want you to quit. Not on his watch, The NFL Community, and not on the watch of every single REAL Packer Fan/Observer, Fantasy player, there is. Aaron you told us to relax. Now were telling you to relax and KEEP playing. You have been slowed down, but not stopped! And that goes for the Defense too! Packers D: now since you got that scuffle out of the way, use that scuffle energy that happened and take it out on your next 8 opponents! Not each other.

Other QB’s have been there too many times. Cam Newton will be scared. Just wait for it Panther Fans he will be humbled and terrified. Just wait!

And some probably excelled to get to the SuperBowl and actually won it.

Relax, Aaron. We get it. But still suit up, practice, review, AND PLAY ON! No matter who or what is on the squad!

#RELAX

The pigskins are flying again. And hopefully in the fresh season, both Football squads should be on point in terms of controlling their own destinies.

First, I think it’s obvious that I should comment about the Packers. Yes, the same ol’ 13 Time NFL Champions with 9 NFL Titles and of course the 4 Superbowls. Many are saying that the Packers are the favorite to win the NFC North (as they done many times before) and of course that stinging reminder to get their 5th Super Bowl Strap in the collection of legendary championships. But we all know that yes, they got beat in Seattle in route to the previous Super Bowl, the same one that they choked against the Patriots. Sometimes I wonder, why did they decided to pass the darn ball and not run it in? You got Marshawn Lynch in the backfield just there! Yes, the same team that beat the Packers got choked and stalled in Super Bowl 49.

Ok, ok. That was in the now past NFL Season. And everyone had gone through the drafts, and preseasons. Speaking of preseasons, many do know that they don’t count right? So why were folks cheering?! It’s not the real thing. NOW since September 10th has passed, and the Patriots won their first game and Pittsburgh didn’t, now every game on the scene counts! Packers went 2-2 in the pre-season, but one price to lose was Jordy Nelson. I’m sure many know by now that he’s got a torn ACL and no, he will not be in the green and yellow in the season. And no, to our NFC North competitors, Detroit Lions, it was not for God intended! Dude probably got mad because Jordy beat him so many times. Let him be mad. Jeez!  I’m surprised that Jordy didn’t put out a tweet getting back at him. BUT knowingly Jordy, next season, he’ll be back in the Green And Yellow, doing what he does best, making DB’s miss with his speedster like moves. Even if it’s in Ford Field! But don’t worry also, Davante Adams, a returning for one season James Jones, a dark horse of Jeff Janis or maybe, JUST maybe a former Badger Wide Receiver from the practice squad might be the unknown to get the job done. Remember when about 5 years ago, that the Packers didn’t have a running back, after Ryan Grant got hurt? Thinking about Marshawn Lynch in all? But ending up with James Starks from the practice squad and taking the crew to victory over San Francisco? Plus it was my 34th Birthday that the squad won! With the unknown dark horse of James Starks! Don’t be surprised if this happens again in a similar fashion with Wide Receivers or any other position that might come across.

For the Packers to make a run of another chance at the strap: they lost some good previous players of a AJ Hawk, Jarrett Bush, Tramon Williams and Davon House. Majority of the Offensive Squad is still intact, but the Pack had to get the young cats of a Jake Ryan, Damarious Randall, LaDarius Gunter, Ty Montgomery, and a Quentin Rollins. Knowingly this group of rookies will be tested as usual, but like all rookies, they’ll show the vets, the opponents,  and fans what they could bring.

Another point to make is Week 1. Yes, Week one is often the easiest weeks to get on track. But for the last three seasons, the Packers lost the openers at home and on the road, but I think in this week one coming up, they need to win, and against the team that they know the most: The Chicago Bears. As a fan and a observer, I want the Packers to get the “Week one Win”. I know about the other weeks, (Gotta go through Seattle at a MUST WIN Lambeau, Niners at REDEMPTION Levis, KC, etc) but THIS ONE must set the tone. We know that yes, “the Bears still suck” and went got their new coach John Fox. And, still remember 1985.  Yeah, John Fox is their head coach now, but I think he might be getting a lesson in this old school rivalry that has gone back since the before Halas and Lombardi. And yes, the Bears got a new system of a 3-4 Defense, in which the Packers know well. So, they might test it, but we know that the Packers might find a way to counter that, with the weapons on hand. Even if Randall Cobb and Aaron Rodgers might unleash their Cobra Packages, or in this case, Pistol plays. So yes, the season is here. And also if the Packers do get the Week One Win, they have to play defense at home on Thanksgiving and it will be a “different scene at Lambeau!” Not to mention Brett Favre will be honored that night as well. So I have to hypothesize that the Packers MUST SET THE TONE against the Bears in Week one, and to have a decisive plan to get the season rolling. They say Do your Job? I say, Get to work and Relax! With or without Jordy Nelson. But the addition recently with James Jones should establish a different spark that the Packers must need in the Wide Receivers areas.

Plus this should SET THE TONE to finally catch up with the 90+ Wins that the Bears had for so long.

Defense: New faces, same figures, but then again, BJ Raji might have a monster year. The DB’s might be tested via Sam Shields and Micah Hyde. Linebackers like Julius Peppers might be laser focused on his craft differently along with the Claymaker and a rising Sam Barrington. Expect the DT’s to get over funk after Letroy Guion and Datone Jones all come back after suspensions from the league.

One other in mind: no play calling from the head coach! This might be different because Mike McCarthy will be managing the players. Similar to what Barry Alvarez did earlier this year with the Badgers winning the Outback Bowl.

Speaking of the Football Badgers:

After winning the Outback Bowl, as many know, it was a send off for the now Running Back of the San Diego Chargers, Melvin Gordon. And many others like Kenzel Doe. Plus also the Badgers went and got a new head coach of Paul Chryst, whom is an Alum of the Badgers. And the team currently is going to rely on new weapons per say to establish their identity. Even Corey Clement and many others. I will admit that this might be slightly difficult. Even with the new coach. But as long as Joel Stave engages the trust of the Badgers in all, he should be fine. However we all know what happened to them via the loss to Alabama, but that’s just one game!  We know, Roll Tide Folks.

However in the schedule to do for the Badgers, there is two things they don’t have to worry about: Ohio State and Michigan State. Lucky!  But for the Big Ten Schedule to open up, they have to contend with Iowa for the Heartland Trophy in which the team has. They also have to contend with Illinois and Northwestern, Nebraska, Rutgers, Maryland, Purdue and to conclude the Big Ten Season with Minnesota with the Ax on the line. I think that the Badgers might win another Big Ten West Title for the collection as well as KEEPING THE AX! Speaking of which, what is up with the Ax thing in Minnesota anyway…..In terms of the opponents can’t use it for the home side!

But all in all, I want Corey Clement to have a breakout year. We know he’s not a James White, or a Melvin Gordon. But he needs to be his own Running Back and burst out like a new man on purpose. I saw a little bit of this in the second game, but establish more “Badger Like-Barges” to get more running in the game. We know passing, but more running! The Defense must be huge since Vince Biegel is still on deck. Plus on the safety side, Mike Caputo and company I want to see is relentless.

Should be a fun season!

Preface: As we all know, the year of the horse, (aka the year of 2014) will be in the barn and rest for the archives. More like out the pasture. But before the ball drops on New Year’s Eve and making a box empty for 2015, I have once again decided to bring out the good, bad, ugly and the scratching my head thing for this year that has gone down. 2014 had a lot galloping like a Horse so many times around the track, but like every other year, it had it’s ups and downs. It didn’t got positive coverage, but there was an activity called the “9th and Ring Thing” in Milwaukee.

Melvin Gordon was a force in the title for the Heisman Trophy. Even though he didn’t win, but he’ll be winning straps in the NFL.

Wisconsin Badgers Football were decent this year with Joel Stave/Tanner McEvoy doing the QB mix, Corey Clement running the game with Melvin, Vince Beigel, and the Defense getting their trenches on. Plus: Winning the Freedom Trophy, Heartland Trophy, and STILL Own Paul Bunyan’s Axe. Sorry Golden Gophers! And for those of Rutgers and Maryland fan bases: Welcome to the Big 10.

During the preliminary debates for the Governor’s chair, Mary Burke went on Black Milwaukee Radio more than once. Walker however had surrogates, but made no representation.

The Wisconsin Badgers owned the West! Both in Big 10 West Football and the West NCAA Basketball Championship. Plus the view of Frank Kaminisky. #OnWisconsin!

The Bad:

Racism struck again in 2014.

ISIS.

Columbus Short got fired from Scandal. Really, dude?

Jetliners disappearing. First the Malaysia flights and now AirAsia Airlines.

2014 was a high year of one of the worst stories to write and comment: Killing unarmed black men, while white police officers who did the job go free, EVEN after chokes being recorded on video.

Unarmed black women were targets also.

School Shootings in America that were in places that was not mentioned alot did occur.

If you got Sprint, you probably had a bad year.

Target and Home Depot got hacked.

2 NYPD officers were shot and killed while on duty.

VH1 debuted Sorority Sisters and got the NPHC Divine 9 folks upset.

Former Wisconsin Badgers Coach Gary Andersen takes the Head Coaching job at Oregon State.

Polarized politics deepens worse in the state.

Racism and segregation still lingered.

If those who didn’t vote up in Wisconsin, stop complaining!

Unemployment maybe down in Wisconsin, but still up in the Black Milwaukee Area.

Talgo officially moved out of Milwaukee due to the politics of not having High Speed Rail. Not good if you were banking on better jobs for the state!

American TV, Nostalgia 1 and 2 Clubs – Rest in peace.

Former Milwaukee MPS Superintendent Gregory Thornton leaves the job for Baltimore’s School Superintendent job.

Plus, African World Festival was cancelled again.

Dustin Diamond, (aka Screech) gets arrested in the Ozaukee, Wisconsin area for stabbing. Really?!

2014 was a Midterm Election Year, and yes Scott Walker, Sheriff David Clarke and many in the republican side stayed base. Plus also nationwide, this midterm election was the lowest in the last 42 years. Sad!

Plagiarism: the only word that many felt Mary Burke lost.

The Milwaukee Bucks made one controversial move: fired Coach Larry Drew and in exchange for Jason Kidd.

In addition to the shootings: 3 young people under the age of 10 shot to death on a playground, in a house and on a relative’s porch! All in Milwaukee.

Michael Jackson – Xscape with Love Never Felt So Good.

Charles Walker Band – Soul Deep was a good single, plus they are from the Mil!

The Ugly:

Really, James Woods? He blames Rev. Al Sharpton for the NYPD deaths. Please!

Hold up North Korea and Russia: You all put Obama on blast calling him a monkey and or flashing graphics of him with bananas in all. Seriously, racism is crossing international waters.

And those chairs though that was shown internationally on the MLK holiday. Those chairs that looked lifelike came out of Russia. Don’t tell me you forgot about that!

An Elk Lodge at an LAPD Retirement Party had Gary Fishell to rewrite the words of  “Bad, Bad, Leroy Brown” to get on the bad side of Michael Brown. STUPID! This was a young black male died at the hands of the Police. Where is the conduct, LAPD?

Those MLK Holiday Ads that had his likeness in a negative fashion. Even twerking. You young Graphic Designers are too dumb to do this!

The Secret Service and the security of the White House. Come on y’all!

Fox News and the right wing media needs to shut up about Loretta Lynch and her affiliation with Delta Sigma Theta Sorority.

Bill Cosby: I haven’t posted any commentary about Bill and the stuff has been going on. But I’ll do it here. I think this whole thing about him being a rapist is just flat out ugly. Already he had lost connections to NBC, his Alumni Board of Temple University, his honorary distinction of being a Honorary Petty Officer of the U.S. Navy, and many others that has a public connection with Cosby over the years. Even various women from Janice Dickerson (seriously?!!!) to Beverly Johnson, and even former Cosby Show cast mate Lisa Bonet all coming out of the wood work blasting Bill Cosby of these past incidents (alleged) that these women claimed he molested or raped. I applaud his wife Camille and his youngest baby girl Evin for standing up for him in his darkest hour. I hope and pray, that Bill Cosby does not go out like Joe Paterno. Remember when Joe Paterno and Jerry Sandusky had all those past relations in secret in molesting college boys at Penn State and it stayed secret for so long? Paterno died. Sandusky is in jail. This is just something I just thought about. But knowing most so-called Americans they’ll believe anything anyway.

The Polar Vortex this past winter was no joke, and yes Rush Limbaugh fans, it was real. In the words of Al Roker: Stuff it!

Speaking of that: why do certain white right wing folks had to comment about Idris Elba in saying that he can’t play James Bond because he’s black? And what it up with the hate against a “Black Annie?”

Next time:  Facebook group leaders or Admins has to warn folks about being deleted or removed, can that be in advance instead of without warning? (ie All About Sagittarius, The Fire: Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius)

I love my Facebook Sagittarius folks in all with the sexual beings stuff, but the sexual stuff can be toned down a bit you know! Really on Facebook! Some folks must be bored, not working, ain’t paying bills,  etc.

While on the subject of Facebook, those of us who got our videos removed due to their copyright notices, this is ugly as crazy. Write complaint letters please.

Ugly things that the Badger Residents faced:

91: The amount of homicides that Milwaukee had in 2014.

Sheriff David Clarke: For all those in Wisconsin, mainly in Milwaukee County, and even in the black community,  I must ask this question. Are you really happy with him right now? I ask this because he recently went on Fox News talking some smack about the ongoing Ferguson incident with the death of Michael Brown, President Obama and many other that the Republican party does not like overall. Keep in mind, this is a Black Democrat, appealing to the Republican Base. He even accused the President of widening the Racial Divide in the country. Oh stop it! If anyone is accused of racially dividing the country: it’s the bigots, the racists, the closet sellout negropeans, the mindless folks who doesn’t know squat. They are dividing the country. The same folks who “wanted their country back” per say. Those folks are the blame. NOT the President! So for all of you voters in Milwaukee that thought Clarke was cool per say, are you really satisfied with the vote you got? I say this to the supporters, activists, DJ’s in all. Think about it. And oh, he also blamed Al Sharpton for the Ferguson uproar and Eric Holder too. Go figure.

There might be rules for us Badger folks who are unemployment: start getting your urine samples ready!

I know this is ugly to swallow, but Milwaukee Police Chief Ed Flynn told the BLUNT truth about the killings in Milwaukee in which the targets mostly are African-American.

The case of the stolen Stradivarius caper in Milwaukee.

Has anyone been to a job fair and saw a fight? I did. And it was ugly at Milwaukee’s Potowanomi Hotel and Casino.

Speaking of the home city, and the guns: We had a cease fire weekend back in the spring, and more shots rang out. From 1 year olds, to 5 year olds, to preteens teens, and to grown folks. No fun!

Milwaukee Sanitation workers were robbed at gun point. No Kidding!

Speaking of ugly: As much as I like the Wisconsin Badgers Football Team, but that lost against of all teams Ohio State University was just that. UGLY! Getting beat 59-0.

Scratching my head this whole time:

Have the Negropeans ever got it yet of they shouldn’t being ashamed to be black? – Reference with all respect: Raven-Symone.

When employers have said about “we can’t find anyone.” In relation to new applicants on the map. Have they actually looked hard enough? Or they are just being lazy?

Can Dish Network EVER get TVOne?

Record players are making a comeback and how will today’s folks will tell their kids to “STOP MESSING WITH MY RECORDS?!!!” ( Hey Millennials, that’s old school talk!!!)

Should there be a rule when folks who were homegrown born in all, made good money elsewhere, and then when trying to comeback to their homecity with promotions or events (nothing wrong with that), SHOULD THEY NOT get an attitude of making folks to come out? I don’t care if you’re a Milwaukee born person, went to the south and made good money and comeback home to force folks to come out and support a cause not worth knowing. There are folks HERE in Milwaukee that are on the grind everyday that are trying to be the best possible to help out. Now you know why it is? Watch yourselves, promoters!

Note to the “fair weather folks” in all: Many leave cold places due to weather and complain. But doesn’t that equate those hating the hot places go to cold places?

With all due respect to T.I. and Pharrell: they are good promoters with their art. BUT………..Why are they having a hard time in dealing with the reality of race?

Are those in the Mary Jane States (yes you know who you are) having a ball with legalization with Marijuana?

Is Richard Sherman still that thug that many thought after the outburst he did against Michael Crabtree? Or what?

I know some Packer fans had to ask about Olivia Munn. Wait a second, who is Olivia Munn?!!!!

When MTV had the VMA’s on, did they actually KNEW who Robin Williams was?!

Was that Michael Jackson hologram really that creepy of “Slave to the Rhythm?”

Will Selma be a hit in 2015?

With all the “crimes” in the cities, what’s up with the drug problems in the suburbs?!!!

Should Roland Martin do more shows of a Bill Maher, a Dr. Phil, and others who don’t hardly get African-Americans like him on their shows?

MASSIVE SOCIAL MEDIA CALLOUT: Can we PLEASE use the “You’re” word on Facebook correctly as well as other forms of Social Media? Like for example, “You’re It!” Not “Your it”. Or “If you don’t follow me on so and so, you’re not welcome here no more. Not “If you don’t follow me on so and so your not welcome here no more.” We need to respell and check our words, folks!

Really Sony? You didn’t like black actors like Denzel Washington? And you got hacked by the hacking nerds?!!

Can Facebook users please be polite and to kindly ask not to be so rude when game requests happen? (No need to be all dramatic and serious.)

Speaking of Facebook again: why do certain folks had to tell other folks to “stop getting smart” after a posting? Had that happen to me.

Was the phrase #ByeFelicia a new term saying you got kicked to the curb?

When William and Kate visited the U.S. (which was nice of them to visit) was it worth it with all the killings with the unarmed black folks being gunned down?

How will us Americans alike be with President Obama in his “4th Quarter” in 2015?

Is D’Angelo’s new joint a reminder of the 90’s? Besides Lady, Voodoo, Brown Sugar?

Speaking of President Obama again: when the issue of race comes up and many of us black folks feels that it’s killing us. So I ask: What do we want him to say?!!!!!

Are the protests of unarmed black men and unarmed black women being killed are getting attention in the cities nationwide, as well as worldwide? #HandsUpDontShoot #BlackLivesMatter #ICantBreathe

When the MTV VMA’s happened after Beyonce got the last award before the show closed out, (probably winning the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award) and when Jay Z said she was the greatest living entertainer per say, has he forgotten about Patti LaBelle, Janet Jackson, and other black female artists that were and are blowing up before Beyonce?! I’m just saying.

So LeBron James goes home to Cleveland. Are you Cavalier fans happy?

Callout: Who did the Ice Bucket Challenge? Admit it. And who really donated to the ALS after finding out what it really is?

Did everyone had a chance to view the videos of Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle, and the late Richard Pryor about being stopped by the Police and the beatings? (Hint, that was dug up this year after Michael Brown and Eric Garner died by the police)

Can the U.S. Mens Hockey team EVER get a black hockey player to help win the gold medal?

SHOUTOUT CALLOUT: For all my Sagittarius folks: was this year of the horse played the cards well, since part of our zodiac is a Centaur?

About that Fire Challenge: WHY?!!!!!!!!!

Who won the Gospel Challenge on Facebook?

Was Michael Sam really misunderstood as a player, or his gay lifestyle?

For those of us who go to Walmart in Milwaukee, what is up with the bootlegging folks? (All I hear: We got CD’s and Movies!)  Nobody has no time buying something that has your digital camcorder or computer virus on it!

Going back to November, actually the first Saturday in November, when many were watching SNL, did those who watched ACTUALLY wanted to see Prince or Chris Rock?

Can we African-Americans ever have a massive Mid-Term/Local Voter Turnout like the Presidential ones?

Why was Ald. Joe Davis of Milwaukee had to comment that The Milwaukee Streetcar had to be immoral, or in this case, racist? Plus comparing it to the Dontre Hamilton death? Really I had to shake and scratch my head on that one.

Was The Interview really THAT controversial?!!!!!

When folks comment about “being apart of the human race”, have they realized that it was black folks that started the human race, per say?

Is Annie a hit for the younger folks and young at heart?

Why are some folks are saying that Gov. Scott Walker is the “face of Wisconsin?” Knowingly his “state of the state speech” this year made no references about Milwaukee? And having NO Minorities on stage with him when making that speech?

Do I need to go up to UW-Stout and address the student body about real effects of Racism? Especially what happened on campus involving a Menomonie man making racial stuff against a 19-year-old black student?

Has those who accused President Obama of everything like unarmed black folks getting killed had realized that he is not at fault?

Can we grown folks let Sasha and Malia be teens for once?

So the FLOTUS spoke in Kansas this year. What was that fuss again?

Oh, is the State of Wisconsin really serious about bringing the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino to Kenosha?

Was Nicki Minaj’s Anaconda song really worse like “Looking A** N*gga?”

Is the hashtag #BringBackOurGirls still available to chant? Even after some of the girls were rescued?

Callout: When Milwaukee had no African World Festival this year, an Organization stepped in and put up a “Freedom Weekend” Event for three days back in August. Not a problem with that. But here is my question: Why would the owners or promoters trying to make those in Milwaukee to come out based on the comments and negative thoughts on Facebook in a negative fashion? Especially trying to make those to come to a press conference on a Friday Afternoon? Folks are at work!!!!! I’m sorry I didn’t go to the event.

Speaking of snakes: What is up with those who want to be eaten alive by an Anaconda?!!! Those snakes don’t play!

THIS JUST IN: Governor Walker just commented about the protests in Milwaukee. And to think he just called them the “HOOD PEOPLE.” SERIOUSLY?!!!! And this dude along with Sheriff Clarke’s idea of bringing in the National Guard if things got worse.

In Florida: An attraction called Machine Gun America is open. Really?!!!

Why was #MyBrothersKeeper was very concerned among black women who didn’t have a say so?

Flu Shots were in effect again. But why were they not effective enough knowing the preaching of getting one?

The theme of “breaking the Internet” was rated with Kim Kardashian showing off that you know what cover. But…….was it really that necessary?

Callout: Democrats, can you please get your git together and not lose your seats in a Midterm?!!!

That Aaliyah movie though. Why was it trainwrecked?

When a 26 year old black Milwaukee man raped a girl at 10 years old (which was recent and true), why do some had to bust out the mantra of #BlackLivesMatter on this? From both black folks and white folks via social media?

CALLOUT: Are Streetcars REALLY a so-called boondoggle, or scam just to segregate folks like High Speed Rail? Or is it just talk of starting mess of not getting things done or trying something new?

Why were and are certain folks had to “redline” job seeking folks because of their address on their resumes?

Will body cameras be an assist to the Police when crimes happen?

And Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity: word is that you had a hazing incident. Can you get your guys straight on that notion to clean it up?!!!!

Callout: Some folks had to bust out with the “Breathe Easy. Don’t break the law” slogan shirts like Milwaukee County Supervisor Deanna Alexander. Um, really?!!!!!  Or should I say to comment: Was that really stupid of a public official to state her liberties or her inappropriate commentary on Twitter about a black man’s death?!!!! And she had to use the #AllLivesMatter #PoliceLivesMatter thing.

Can the Consumer Drones, or Parrot Drones, or Radio Shack drones, or DJI Drones be good money makers for jobs?

Will The TSU Social Universe be a new force for Social Media? In terms of paying the user of postings, etc?

Same as last year: Why can’t folks can’t be real with folks who are real? – church, the jobs, economic status, sex, etc?

Speaking of drones, why folks had to be all scared about those being filmed? Here is what I know, whenever you walk near a building or in a store, you will be on camera. And cameras are everywhere. So what’s the fuss?

And………Will 2015 be the G.O.A.T. (not just the animal)?

New feature this year: My own highlights of the year.

For this portion, 2014 was not too shabby this year for me. Outside of me blogging and fronting,  and in addition to my community stuff, I was featured for a Hallelujah Moment for the Wisconsin Conference UMC for my church’s Love Is Part Two event in Milwaukee. In relation to the highlights in talking about domestic violence. It was a real eye opener event that both Women and Men must continue to talk about, even with the church! And also, on November 8th of this year, I was one of the local community folks in Milwaukee that was recognized by the Northwest Side Community Development Center as a 2014 Unsung Hero Award recipient. Yes, I am an UnSung Hero for my work with Photography and among other ties along with my ability in the Milwaukee area. So shout out to all of my Unsung Heroes in Milwaukee, as well as a shout out for all of the folks who do work and don’t hardly get recognized for any work that is hidden or not mentioned! Plus also my current Pastor and Church First Lady had about 14 years of their ministry that was presented. They were honored on December 7th in Milwaukee for their work and on a high note, their last day is December 31st, 2014.

For those who have read this blog like over 10,000 times with Tumblr – Thank you!

For those who have read this blog for support and shoutout for music and radio, – Thank you for reading. And as a token of appreciation, I have made a Stephen’s Spot Photography on Facebook, so feel free to check it out. Who knows, maybe in the near future I might do some photo spots perhaps?

As far as my Alumni Stuff: This is for the Marshall Eagles. Back in August, my Alumni 90’s folks was supposed to have an Eagles picnic to reconnect with those near and far no matter what year. Unfortunately, that was cancelled due to some dumb stupid rumors about gangs, drugs, amount of people and etc at Cooper Park. Note to the committee of Cooper Park, that was not forgotten! Your park is everyone’s park and it does not partake to you and you only! But on the good side, us Eagles partied anyway before Thanksgiving and had a ball downtown Milwaukee. Shoutout to Karma Bar and Grill for having us to meet up and party!

And as far as the UW-Stout Alumni is concerned: It’s been a while, but since the Alumni Board has a new regime with a new director of the Alumni leading the pack, (plus a new Management director and Chancellor) they have been to Milwaukee this year. And HOPEFULLY improvements will be in order for the next. I’m still interested in seeing more of the Blue Devil Alumni! #stoutpride

One of my church members, Thurman Patton passed this year at age 96. He was a member of my church for numerous years, and was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. His funeral back in July, at Milwaukee’s St. Mark’s AME Church was celebrated as he was the last twin brother to be memorialized. The final moments of his funeral was the Committal, in which the members of the United States Army Folded the flag into the triangle to be given to the family. Plus out of no where: a 21 gun salute was included with Taps. Also one of the men, who fired the guns came in and gave the bullets to the family as part of the service. This was a first time that I witnessed a Committal service in person for the final salute of the late Thurman Patton. I salute him for his service as well as those who have passed on of serving this country.

In closing: 2014 was one of those years that we walked through pain, fire and brimstone like the years past. But there were along the way, there were positives, and great stuff that happened. I ask again: Will 2015 be really, the GOAT? Start making room the records for future throwbacks!

As this week progresses, the Season of the Archers will close for another year. And yes, the Capricorns will make way for the path. But BEFORE YOU Capricorns, start taking the Baton of the Zodiac and run: I got something to say here. Last year I wrote two Sagittarius things in tribute and to keep it real with poems. So guess what, I’m going to do it again but with a twist with famous folks of the 9th house living or dead that paved up the way for the 9th house Centaur Nation.

I rep the 9th house. I am that zodiac that roams no bounds,

It’s that thoroughbred in me that still abounds

No matter I’m at work, school or play,

It doesn’t matter, I’m a Sag that still makes the stay

I’ll innovate a famous month of blackness that keeps the folks all year flowing and crusin’

That would be cool, like Dr. Carter G. Woodson

Or to rule the White House: such as debating and tourin’

Like the guy of 8th President of Martin van Buren

For music like Little Richard, Jay Z, Jamie Foxx, Jimi Hendrix, Janelle Monae, Taylor Swift, or Keri Hilson,

Don’t mind me, I’ll be like the folks in Seattle doing a chant for Russell WIL-SON!

Whether I’ll make a pass for a Touchdown, or make the belt come out for the Max,

Just like Aaron Rodgers, I’ll tell those with conviction of R-E-L-A-X!

I’ll be a bit sassy like Nene Leaks or Richard Pryor, or get funny like Redd Foxx or Margaret Cho,

No matter the scene, I’ll be the icon that can still go!

In church, I can do ministry like the Pope Francis I and spread the inspiration,

Or like the beat of the drum like Sheila E, you’ll stay for the duration.

Don’t make me get funky up in here, like my name would be Morris Day,

I’ll make you get up and dance and you’ll have nothing to say!

Us Centaurs might be moody and most of the time can’t take no fool,

Just like the archer Samuel L. Jackson, yo we play it cool.

Us Centaurs will go to the extreme like whole lot of club goers jumpin’

Don’t make me get the stunner son, like the rattlesnake, Stone Cold Steve Austin!

Oh, it’s true! It’s true like the moniker of Kurt Angle and his Wrestling Game,

I don’t have Olympic gold medals, but still can rise to fame.

Us Centaurs will get creative like the names of Charles Schultz and Walt Disney

I told you that thoroughbred sound was real, we also kick it like WWE’s Naomi and the dragon himself Bruce Lee, feel me?

Like the famous folks of John Stewart, Robin Roberts, James Avery, and Ha-Ha Clinton-Dix,

Knowing this season of maintenance, it’s always a reference of a done deal fix.

Having towards the wave of success and sometimes be crazy of anything that we oppose,

Go reference Nicki Minaj, or that WWE Lunatic Fringe Dean Ambrose!

It takes a king to know a king, ala the name Jerry Lawler doing fist drops,

We Sagittarius folks are party starters, which never stops.

We also have voice of a Ella Baker, which the civil rights of her had never scowl,

we also can march to the beat of civil rights and learn from those of a Andrew Goodman, Tom Hayden, Abbie Hoffman and yes,  Adam Clayton Powell.

In closing of this poem, we do have to maintain this flow,

Like another Sag that tells us of Rob Van Dam, we are and can be the whole f’n show!

So as this Sagittarius season closes out another year to come,

Remember Sagnation, no matter what we do and where we go, always have the bows and arrows on lock and roam, and never ever forget where you come from!

When the Centaurs roam, Glyph Happens!

Human Intelligence, Thoroughbred Strength. Sagittarius Soul, Baby!

Three Way Dance Time!

For you new readers, I do this three way dance about mini stories into one big blog story! Well in that case for this: it’s about the NFL related stories of spankings, Domestic Violence and mostly: Packers!

First Dance:

Ok. I’ve asked this question before, and I have written this story previously, and I’m going to say it again. And don’t be ashamed to admit this. How many of us who are grown, got a career, looking for jobs, volunteer, staying active in all, have ever been spanked as a child? Let’s be honest here, who was spanked as a kid? No matter what you did wrong as a child – ever! All of this spanking or whoopings news is just flat out dumb. Ok, so Adrian Peterson, whom plays for the Vikings who I don’t cheer for, was caught in a crossfire because of this “incident” of spanking his 4 year old son in Texas. And the reason we all know why he did it because it was a way that he was raised. Many of us, even yours truly can relate in getting those belts, those switches, shoes or any other object that our mothers and sometimes fathers get on us when we didn’t do right. Yes, I had them to and I’m not making any bones about it. And of course our parents and/or older relatives will tell stories about it in their own way. We get it. Why? they did it. And I’ll bet some of us probably were thinking of the words going to call “Child Abuse” on our parents per say to get them arrested or thrown in jail.

But seriously, why is the subject of spankings is still an ongoing issue when it compares to the NFL and the news?

Ok, so Adrian Peterson got caught with his hand in the cookie jar per say and the folks in the media blows up. Wow! Why can’t they just report about how to play ball for the next season? Jeez. Other football players have said the same thing in support of Adrian. Even a guy like Reggie Bush said the same thing. But later on he would retract his statement on whooping his 1 year old daughter speech. I have to question those who get offended per say about a subject like this, why are you offended by spankings? Let ask those in the so-called right wing media, or anyother media,  or those sheltered parents who probably got kids who don’t understand in all, were you whooped as a child? Don’t back out now! This spanking story will infact go away. But the memory of being spanked or whooped will not. I mean if we want to see spankings on the NFL Football Field, you root for your team to win over their opponent. This spanking story and many others will disappear, the players will play again and the families will go back to private mode.

Second Dance:

The NFL should implement and include in the October events of Domestic Violence Awareness. They should not only keep the pink, but also add the purple. Yes, we all know about the ongoing talk about Ray Rice, Janay Rice and their concern. And also there were new incidents that even Arizona Cardinals Running Back Johnathan Dwyer has been on the list of those that committed acts of Domestic Violence. And another was, from the Carolina Panthers, Greg Hardy. So yes, we know that the NFL is making their stamp well known: if you have an issue with Domestic Violence in your situation, the league will deactivate you and get this matter resolved. I know that the NFL has an image to maintain. Advertisers like Busch, and Campbell’s Soup are making their voices known to tell the NFL to shape up! You got these young role models out here that don’t want to hear all this mess! And they know it. So yes, the NFL has to change their policies for the better. And speaking of that, these NFL Social Communicators out here, that just hired 4 white women, where are the black women? Seriously, just don’t assume that the white women are the only answer for this. I’ve seen black women give answers too. Just my opinion. And as far as Roger Goodell is concerned, yes I have seen his commentary today about his handling of the situation. Yes he admit he was wrong about it and seems that he does have a plan in solving his end of the Domestic Violence angles in the players. He proposed some key elements in the change of the plans today via NFL.com.

  • Goodell said that the league will look to implement a “conduct committee” that will help to establish procedures on how to handle conduct problems.
  • Goodell announced partnerships with two of the leading domestic violence and sexual assault resources: The National Domestic Violence Hotline (The Hotline) and the National Sexual Violence Resource Center (NSVRC).
  • “In addition, NFL teams and league staff will participate in education sessions starting in the next month, followed by training programs. These programs are being developed by a top group of experts.”
  • Goodell said he has not considered resigning, despite some public calls to do so.
  • Goodell indicated that he wants more specific punishments for specific offenses, with less gray area.

With these elements of change, he wants to have this done by the time whomever team goes to the Superbowl. This is what he wants and it shall be. One thing that does stand out, is the educational portions of the use of Domestic Violence Awareness and Sexual Assault Awareness. The main reasons though, many don’t know what to expect when these incidents occur. Mainly is about counting money! And keeping that image is everything stuff. And oh my name is so-and-so and I can’t be sued. Think again! This isn’t about money, nor about ratings, fantasy picks, points to be scored, interceptions, touchdowns, MVP’s in all. This is not about that. This is about getting the whole house (and the WHOLE HOUSE) in order. Like I said you got young fans who look up to an Quarterback, Running Back, Wide Receiver, Defensive Back and got their posters on the wall. Ain’t nothing wrong with that. For you parents: This is a must ask question: those men that are pictured on the wall in your kid’s room right now, you have to ask, is that player a good role model for my Son? Or my Daughter? Don’t forget, females like football also. Just to be clear.

Finally on the card: Packers!

I read a story about a question that the team doing a popular play that is out now. Many of us have seen it. And the Badgers used it a couple of years ago in terms of a Badger Barge. Vic Ketchman of Packers.com asked the question, “Could the Packers run the Jet Sweep?” Let me answer that: yes, they should! Remember when I posted about blog story about changing the culture, after the Packers got beat by Niners in all? Yes, I admit they need to change the culture in terms of the plays. Many don’t know that the Packers were one of the first teams to display and run the Power Sweep plays when Vince Lombardi was around coaching it. True story. Yes even today, the Packers use the same Sweep Play in a modified way to move their offense. For once as a Packer Backer/Observer: I say put the Jet Sweep in a formation. Put Randall Cobb, Jordy Nelson or even the rookie Davante Adams in the play and run it! For another play like that with the fake outs in the formation, put Eddie Lacy or James Starks to run straight through the Defense. I want to see that! If the Badgers can do that same play that almost got them the Rose Bowl Title, then I think the Packers can do the same. Put a new name for the Jet Sweep for the Packers like the “Lombardi Barge” Or the “Curly Sweep” or “The New Packers Power Sweep”, or the “Packers HB Sweep 2.0”. Call it what you want, but still run the play. Put in play Coach! Come on Ted Thompson make it happen! Oh, another question I’ve been getting is this: how will the Packers will do this year? They already got beat by Seattle. I expected that game to be a tough one for a reason. Why, because Seattle is the team to beat. They have the Lombardi Trophy. Clearly, the opponents have to beat champs, and the champs have to defend the title. And yes, the Seahawks have a bounty on their heads for the whole season to see if they can survive with the trophy in hand until the playoffs. If the Seahawks get beat (and there will be a lucky team to beat them)then the title itself is up for grabs. If not, they get a repeat. Many are picking the Packers to go to the Super Bowl, vs either Denver or Indianapolis. That’s one of those Peter King things. Not me. And I think they’ll repeat as NFC North Champs again!

Likewise, the Pack, (not the so-called slackers!) are still a good team in the hunt. So I wouldn’t count them out for anything.

All in this 2014-2015 season.
