Folks: I haven’t been on the blogs as of much. A primary reason because of a extreme matter that took place. My father recently passed on at 69 years old in Milwaukee, and like many in my family, we are saddened and shocked by his death. How did I felt really? This my statement via my Facebook page from February 24th, 2017:

I have breaking news to share. And I don’t know if I have the bravery to say this but I’ll manage. Folks, I am shocked and numb now to say that my Father, whom I’m named after,  is now passed. Us in the family are taking this hard that this has occurred. Literally I know that when I hear folks passing away yes I feel this sympathy to be close. I also have this option to say to those that yes is to learn the lessons to move forward. Now it’s time for myself and my sister, to learn the lessons that my father taught us. For those of you that lost Fathers, I will listen to you. I will learn what you went through in order for me, my sister and most definitely my mother will take to move forward. My father was the last of his McClinton family bunch to pass on. And knowing my family will feel it knowing he’s in a better place.  One thing for I know, Dad didn’t play. He was a straight shooter all the way and knowing yes was fair. There been many times that for financial reasons whether my sister or I had little money on hand or no money on hand:  he was there. For moral support, he was there. He was there for my church (the same church that he was a member since 1969), things to fix around the house all the time. He was known to have a Corvette for alot of years, even a Honda V45 Manga Motorcycle, a Ford Truck, and a Cadillac Escalade. He also was known for his art talent of old school portraits, woodworking, at one time, playing a guitar, and of course gadgets and CPU’s  – in which I got him interested. But mostly: he was known for being a Veteran of the Armed Forces. Served in the US Army between 1966-1968 before the tet offensive in Vietnam. Married to my mother since 1969 and again raised me and older sister. Plus he was an Alumni of the Milwaukee Public Schools. He went to Lee Elementary School, Roosevelt Middle School, and a true Blue Devil out of North Division High School “when it was real”, as he stated. And the jobs: Allis Chalmers, Pfister and Vogel Tannery, VA Medical Center and mostly the US Postal Service for his work for 27 years of service.
Yes I am sad, shocked and numb right now. And the pinch ain’t good. I will do my best to make sure that his memory as he stated last year: Leaving a mark. In which he did. My father Empowered (and I mean EMPOWERED) me to be the best of I do. Same with my sister. No question.  I’ll be in and out of Social Media as this long process of setting up my Dad’s Service of life. That is all. Send condolences to my family at this time if you wish.
Thank you.
At this time, I’ll be on a short hiatus with the planning of my Father’s funeral. Meanwhile, we ask for prayers and support in the hour of bereavement.

Many believe that this year of 2016 was that year to claim. Well, did you claim what you were looking for?

What about those who hate on Jesse Williams at the BET Awards this year. Did you really listen, or just make a comment by not listening?

MASSIVE SOCIAL MEDIA CALLOUT AGAIN LIKE LAST YEAR: Can we PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, JESUS, ALLAH, BUDDHA or SCIENTOLOGY: use the “You’re” word on Facebook correctly as well as other forms of Social Media? Like for example, “You’re It!” Not “Your it”. Or “If you don’t follow me on so and so, you’re not welcome here no more. Not “If you don’t follow me on so and so your not welcome here no more.” We need to respell and check our words, folks!

Single Black Men, who hate the thought of Serena Williams dating and now being engaged to a white dude, what is your excuse of not dating Queens you are looking for?

Who is really the conscious: The church folk, the business folk, the activist, the talk show host, or the unsung folk?

Why do Americans have a short attention memory span? All the dang time!

Who’s getting the drones working in 2017?

Will many graduate in 2017 as well as going into the schools in 2017?

CALLOUT: For all you Millennials: have you learned your lesson about NOT VOTING WILL DO YOU? Just to add, the ISH just got real.

How many will do the things that they put off in the previous years and actually do it this year?!

What is that one song you want to end your 2016? And the song you want begin with your 2017?

And the last thing I have to ask: I will say this to ask humbly, will you miss Obama?

Happy New Year!

Let’s get the 2017 thing started.

I’m just going to let loose. This is the last “Scratching my head all this time” thing. Actually its the last story in my 30’s. But don’t worry since this is the 12th month and the birthday is on December 5th, yes I’m going to keep writing when the 40’s happen and yes there will be a SPECIAL Sagittarius Check in for all of us Sags born between November 22nd and December 21st. So with that, I’m cutting to the chase right now!

Since when did the real racists have a say when Donald Trump became president?

Have many stopped sleeping on the Wisconsin Badgers Football Squad? Oh, yes they lost to Michigan and Ohio State, but guess what Michigan fans, no disrespect, but your squad got beat by IOWA! And you’re crying about a tiebreaker with Jim Harbaugh’s rants about refs. Hold up, he needs to look in the mirror when his then-49ers torched the Packers with crooked zebras!

Can the Packers really “Run the Tables” in another attempt to get to the playoffs? Run the Tables, Relax and Chill fellow cheeseheads. #GoPackGo

If the Badgers win the B1G Championship over Penn State, is there a STRONGER WAY to get to the Rose Bowl and actually WIN IT?

Is 40 the new 20 like many said?

Hey Sagittarians: It’s still our season. Are we having fun or what?

Now Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke might be a potential pick for Trump’s Homeland Security Position. BUT you know that he had folks die in jail without water this year, right?

Milwaukee is now a Blue City in a RED STATE. How will this workout, as if many times before?

Remember when Colin Kaepernick was kneeling  during the Anthem? Why didn’t he vote?

Why is it that the NES Classic Edition is so hard to find AT WALMART? But when you go to Gamestop and try to buy it for $80.00. REALLY?!!

Is Amazon Fire Stick TV really the business?

Last year, the Coloring Books for us grown folks were a hot seller. What’s next to come back for the Christmas season for the grown and mature? And it’s not just the VR machines.

This year, we all heard about DirecTV Now. 100+ Channels for 35 bucks. Now here is my question: Can us on the DirecTV thing who are sick and tired of paying about $100.00+ per month can actually be traded to pay something less cheaper with the new DirecTV Now?

Did anyone actually were thankful by reading my Be Thankful blog for Thanksgiving?

Here’s something to scratch on: What about those who say don’t buy anything during the holidays, but those who will buy the items anyway?

Yes I agree that Black Dollars Matter. Which really it does. But whom is having a hard time understanding that?

This past Tuesday was Giving Tuesday. Who donated to their Alumni Groups?

What is the biggest stigma of misunderstanding of when turning 40?

OK I have to scratch this one: Many are saying that Luke Cage, Sons of Anarchy or others are better than Empire. Look I can respect everyone’s opinions, but what’s better than Luke Cage or Sons of Anarchy? Monday Night Raw?! Black-ish? I have to say this: the next couple of shows coming out, will be better than Luke Cage or them other shows. Mark my words.

What about them Milwaukee Bucks so far? Don’t sleep!

You know that the Nintendo Switch is coming out like next spring, right?

We got those lists coming out for 2017. Are we going to follow it?

Who is really hooked on those Hallmark Christmas shows right now? Come on now, please confess to Father Stephen! Admit your confession!

Will this year be the best Christmas ever? Since Obama is leaving office next month.

Speaking of that: Will you really miss Obama?

What will be your BEST and WORST of 2016?

Have the Introverts really got respect?

Why has 2016 had NO CHILL when famous most recently have passed on?

Who was the real deal in Milwaukee this year? No I’m not picking Sheriff David Clarke.

Who was the real deal in Wisconsin this year? Nope sorry Scott Walker!

Since Christmas is coming as usual: Who is the real Scrooge you know that needs a butt kicking right now?! Go get those three spirits.

Since 2016 had no chill, what about the unemployment and the underemployed of black men and women had NO CHILL all along?

Since 2016 had NO CHILL: has anyone caught those who murdered that college student near my Alma Mater of UW-Stout?

Since 2016 had NO CHILL: what about the still health concerns about black folks?

Since 2016 had NO CHILL: What is the deal of the same ol’ tired stigmas about black on black crime that the “you know whos” had to bring up when police shootings happen?

Since 2016 had NO CHILL: what was up with cultural black organizations had to shut down due to funding in America?

Since 2016 had NO CHILL: Why did those who say they were for Hillary, but were backing Donald Trump?

Since 2016 had NO CHILL: who is really having a hard time finding work? Especially in Milwaukee?

Since 2016 had NO CHILL: Why there are those who feel that ALL CHURCHES are about money?

Since 2016 had NO CHILL: Who is the biggest hypocrite? Those whom do church, or the job, or the streetfolks?

Since 2016 had NO CHILL: what will the black folks who voted for Donald Trump will actually get in his 100 days in office, or 4 years? Not much!

Since 2016 had NO CHILL: Why is Wisconsin’s rural areas have the stigmas about city folks?

Do you realize that leaving one place to another might have implications of seeing the same old racism yet again?

Most of us are still reeling from this so-called election where hardly no one voted up enough. Who is really at fault for NOT VOTING? And will this not carry over in 2018?

Speaking of 2018, will this be the last year of Sheriff David Clarke and Scott Walker?

AND the last question before I turn 40: Will you or might you believe that anything is possible to go hard even further?  Despite anything?

Bonus Question: Should the blogging I do should be added to the Milwaukee category on WordPress? I looked at that and it’s completely DRY!

There will be more coming out.

ssp-thanksgiving

Everyone knows how this goes. And it’s real simple. No need to link or google or even #Hashtag. Today, many around the country and in household or other areas, we Americans will be celebrating that holiday of food called Thanksgiving. From the Parades, to the NFL Games or other new traditional ideas that will boost the food day. And yes, there will be us going out to the clubs and shaking off the pounds to get loose for Christmas.

And yes, there will be constant reminders of the horrors that our Native American brothers and sisters will not participate in this Thanksgiving Day due to the killing of their ancestors outside of a church on a Sunday morning many moons ago. Henceforth, The National Day of Mourning.

But this holiday, yes does have the two words of Be Thankful of the things and ideas we already have. So here in it’s almost decade tradition, here is another traditional Stephen’s Spot Thanksgiving Blog of “Be  Thankful”. Break out the tablets, Smartphones, PC’s or laptops. Start reading!

If you still got your old game systems on a Throwback Thursday, be thankful!

If you still listen to your old school joints on your radio, or maybe some new school material, be thankful.

If you are a conscious-minded person, a defensive-minded person that you know is best, for your own opinions, be thankful!

For my Sagittarian readers: guess what? It’s our season. Are we thankful? (SAGS RULE!)

And finally: If I missed anything that many have thought about, and it’s good: we all should be and forever so thankful that we must march on. Like they say at the black funerals: It’s already been said.

Happy Thanksgiving!

The time has come: Class of 2016 you are about to go to that next world that many of you have been dreaming of. And yes, for some of you, many of you will be making that mark so badly. I know this. But guess what, before you or some of you will walk across that stage: Just know that many or some will or will not have your back. But also, as newly fresh grads as you are, it’s time to claim “your Sweet 16” in a way that is known: your opportunity. So here is for the newly grad class of 2016: your blog letter.

Dear Class of 2016:

It’s me Stephen. You know, that black blogger guy from a city like Milwaukee.

Congrats to you! Many of you have finally made to the final level about to be graduates and soon to be, Alumni Members of the schools that you have to give back to.

I’m assuming that many of you will be getting your plans together . The same ol’ “after college” plan that will be asking you even after you get your degree. You know what they are. However it is something that is going to be asked of you every day just to keep in mind. Just a sidenote to you High School Grads making the next level: you’re in this too! No matter if your next level involves College or the Armed Forces.

But yes, it’s your time to be recognized. It’s your time to be appreciated of the four, sometimes 5, or 6 years of work that you put into. No matter if it was High School, College or University, you made your stamp on history! And no one can never take that away from you. NOBODY! Defend your degrees. And also, there will be folks will might say, “So you think you’re so fresh or better than me just because you got a degree from some school!” Just a word of warning. But don’t let some goober with a half-pint brain never tell you any different. Many of you had to go through hell, fire, and brimstone just to get to the commencement. Some of you, who had to drop out years ago, for some other reasons, probably made the journey back to finish and get your degree! Some of you whom had served in the military, came back or entered college to finish the goal that was previously started. Many of you who are 1st gen, 2nd gen, or 3rd gen who are from various backgrounds of historical accomplishments in family education, are adding something new to the trophy case. And some of you, (kind of myself) are graduating just to prove a point to belong or actually proving some goobers wrong with all the negativity that was swirled around with bad unethical thoughts who are now just eating crow. That happened to me 10 years ago this month graduating from UW-Stout. Graduating in the area of Industrial Management and used Distance Education to do it. Don’t front old school trads! And by the way, 2006 still rocks! I should also point out, that you might inspire someone from the audience that watched you walk with your class to go and work on their future degrees to get. I’ve seen it happen and it worked.

But in all seriousness, you have your power. Just use it. Not just for you, for those who got you to the dance. Just like President Obama said at Howard University, the very same Howard that Diddy said his address, he spoke about: “be confident in your blackness”. Since Howard is a HBCU, why not he spoke to that notion. And of course the Obama haters via Fox News had to say something dumb. But yes, the President was on point when  he said be bold in your blackness. I know that yes, the College has other folks walking the Yard, but in that speech, I knew whom he was talking to. Sort of like what Jamie Foxx said on the BET Awards years ago when he said “This is for all the Black People! ” Not racist! Understand that.

Now I need direct my attention to the jack off idiots whom are “Soft Administrators” and idiots who feel that high school seniors who got Valedictorian status and many other status that many will not obtain.

CALLOUT: Louisiana: I’m calling your non gotee facial rules what it is. Flat out BS!

CALLOUT: And to the school district who wouldn’t allow a senior to walk across the stage with her class all because she said some poem with the N word printed. You have jumped the gun, but obviously failed to realize that this could be a warning that she might go through once leaving the school. Matter of fact this happened to a white kid at my High School 10 years ago, but the dude almost didn’t graduate because the truth he wrote on MySpace about the crime and concerns of Milwaukee. Um hello! The date was 06-06-06. No kidding. And were still taking about it 10 years later with the crimes taking place now.

*Just a sidenote, that senior who almost got yanked for not walking with her class, has now graduated.

And the last thing, why would any school administrators would take away a black dudes chance of graduating, and having on a Kente Cloth?! As in representing the black culture?! Really?!

Man, some of our school administrators in the schools are so soft! I’m sorry. As a Alum I feel disgusted by which these silly rules are being enforced by the schools to not allow our Black children to participate in the event they worked hard for. And I also blame these scared racist voters whom feel afraid or anguish against black folks trying to make to grad day. And I’ll bet those same folks whom are stuck on stupid with not making it themselves. Watch your back, 2016 grads! Keep making the haters mad by doing your thing. Sooner or later they will realize that your success will turn heads and crack skulls! Trust me! And watch overtime how they disappear. Knowing the thought, some might even be kissing your butt for a spot on the job line. And I know many of you are VOTERS! If you didn’t like to be yanked from your Graduation spot because of facial hair, a poem that reflected the truth, or having a Kente Cloth on your graduation gown, THEN YOU MUST VOTE to change the game! Let your Administrators, or Council Members, or Mayors, or School Superintendents know that this matter does not sit well and yes you have a right to complain. These person(s) work for you, and you have a right to hold them accountable of what they do. If they don’t work for you, as in progress, VOTE THEM OUT! Or matter of fact, you can challenge their seats to compete for their jobs!  And if you’re not yet a voter, it’s time to become one.

Well Class of 2016, you’re Alums now. And every single year, I come on here to tell you that your old High Schools and Colleges/Universities need your help in support the future causes. I urge all of you (even though most of you are younger than me) to join your school’s Alumni Associations. Donate to your alma mater by donating some of your time and effort to support this life long cause. I know many of you are getting some of those Grad Dollars of checks or cash from your mama and them. I mentioned this 2 years ago, why not donate some of your grad cash to your alma maters to support a lab, library materials, or new gym lockers, new computers, or donate to the arts that need new instruments, or just donate some cash to help a new cause to your old school like mixers or metro area alumni groups, or future Alumni Chapters. Even start a subgroup Alumni Chapter like African-American Alumni Chapters or Black Alumni Chapters  and alike. I know one school needs one! And also, you can go to your reunions or meetups. Even serve on Alumni Board of Directors to read scholarship essays, select future speakers,  fix up your old classroom/dorm or go to a homecoming game, and maybe as a idea: you might be called to speak at your old high school or college at a future commencement ceremony! Better get cracking on the donations, philanthropic needs and JOBS now!

And yes you can still buy that swag of stuff!

Class of 2016: take a freaking bow! The celebration has been summarized and concluded. Time to get to work.

Sincerely,

Stephen

Preface: IT WILL BE, 10 years since I walked across the stage at UW-Stout in front of family and teachers. But this summary from the University explains it all. Congrats to the 2016 grads, and congrats to us 2006 grads for getting to the decade years later! So as is, plus along with the University’s 125th Anniversary, (Come to think it was their 115th Anniversary 10 years ago) here is the actual story from the University of Wisconsin-Stout’s Website.

This Friday will be the actual commencement anniversary. And also, I will be commenting on it of the preceding events, plus commentary that had those “attacking” me on this notion, but also I will highlight the last 10 years since getting the degree and the next phase for the next decade.

So until then, review the story below that was 10 years in the making.

Chancellor addresses May graduates

University of Wisconsin-Stout Chancellor Charles W. Sorensen addressed graduates of the May 2006 class Saturday morning, telling them that “you have done a fine job and this is a day of celebration.”

Approximately 840 graduates received degrees during the ceremony at Johnson Fieldhouse, with 120 of those earning advanced degrees.

Sorensen talked briefly about three people – Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King and John Hope Franklin – that influenced not only his life, but in many ways shaped the forces of the 20th century.

“They speak to us in different ways today, but their lives and their belief systems are linked by powerful ideas and beliefs central to our history; central to our lives and your lives,” Sorensen told the graduates. “As you leave UW-Stout as new, well-educated professionals, assuming new roles as responsible citizens, I want you to think seriously about the lessons these people give us.”

In speaking of Gandhi, Sorensen mentioned how the “power of this one man’s ideas led to Indian independence and inspired a people and the world.”

On King, Sorensen talked about how the civil rights leader knew “ideas had to be transformed into action, into seeking the truth, challenging injustice, addressing poverty and all other forces that stood in the way to creating a just society.”

When discussing Franklin, Sorensen told of Franklin being “a voice and an activist for social justice; he became and remains the critic asking why America cannot do an effective job in ending racial discrimination and providing all Americans of all races the chance to live the American dream.”

Tying all three men together, Sorensen told the commencement gathering “they all committed their lives to the highest level of moral and ethical values, something we should all strive to do. They stayed true to those ideals, became living role models for all, even those that sought to destroy their character or even end their lives. Finally, they committed to apply those ideals in practical ways to work for a just society.

“That is a good charge for you and every American.”

Classes at UW-Stout ended Tuesday, May 9. An evaluation week began Thursday, May 11 and ends Wednesday, May 17.

Guess what? I’m back. Had to take a blogging break. But just in time before Mother’s Day. Now for every mother in the building have a great Mother’s Day. But before that happens, I’m about to scratch my head again of the most recent events.

If all lives really matter, again what is up with the still hate of Black Citizens?

I heard that a member of the US Navy passed. And I’ll bet many have to bust out saying “I’ll honor him than some Entertainment dude.” Really?!

Still can’t stand the hypocrites in church huh? Do those have hypocrites in the workplaces also? I’ll wait. Especially if you are on Facebook or Instagram talking comments.

I’m still trying to wrap my head around “fat shaming”. Like it’s a new phrase. Have we always been fat shaming folks? Stop me if you hear “yo mama is so fat”…. Hello?

Note to Adele: we know the love, but you know that Beyonce is not Jesus Christ, right?

So Donald Trump is the main Republican Representative. What’s the move Democrats? Hillary or Bernie?

It’s stupid. Those that hated Prince for years are now liking him. Like Michael and Whitney, where was the likes when they were alive?

Is Milwaukee ready for the new reincarnation of getting things done?

Now since the spring election is over in Milwaukee, can I please ask why former Alderman Joe Davis had to endorse Bob Donovan?!

“We built this city.” Why that for an Milwaukee Election?

On the radio in Black Milwaukee: Wheaton Franciscan has a 30 second radio spot: “Get a Doc”. All jazzy in the background. My question is to say does everyone really know?

Is America really that great, that can be great again?

I see those I love Mom pics. Will the I love Dad pics show up for Father’s Day?

Man listen: why do folks hate birthdays being celebrated?

So Scott Walker wants us Wisconsin folks to take a drug test while collecting unemployment. Are you the “not going to vote” folks that blind?

Class of 2016: are you ready?

Dang what is up with these folks still trying to get folks hooked up in the wrong places?!

Can the Singles have a day or Month without all the marriage hassle?

Can Milwaukee have real meaningful jobs like of Chicago, DC, New York, LA, San Francisco, Silicon Valley, NASA, or Facebook?

Is Big Mama still alive? Or has this Generation killed her?

Should all Universities have African-American Alumni groups?

No offense, but why is Mother’s Day is slightly higher than Father’s Day?

Is the workplaces as well as highly Extroverted groups ready for Introverts?

We know the Milwaukee Streetcar is coming. Yes! Can the state at least review why the high speed rail really was scrapped again? Hint: Racism was in play.

One last thing: Why are folks calling this racist? Seriously?

Let me just have one comment on this. For all of those so-called patriotic Americans who feel that there is no Racism or “All Lives Matter” or feel that when Black Folks are celebrated, they get mad and protest after feeling offended by black fists in the air? I had a cousin that was a Vietnam Veteran and he had a fist in the air! He is deceased now. But look: with all due respect to the uniform regulations which I understand, but this is not politics West Point! And I speak as a son of a West Point Graduate that went into the Army and served in the Vietnam War! Don’t play me!

Other than that, enjoy your day Mothers.

Ok, Milwaukeeans: This is a test. If you went to an MPS School or Schools, yes you have graduated. You probably got an invite or visit from MPS to your old High School and possibly an invite or info about a potential First MPS All Alumni Event scheduled for February 2016. You probably got it via email, Facebook, the MPS Alumni Hub online, or possibly word of mouth through your community announcements and/or Radio. No matter what or where you got the info, it spreaded out. Now you probably went to other “all alumni” high school reunions in all, but none of them were under MPS. Until now. This event was indeed 170 years in the making.

Here’s the thing, last month, the City of Milwaukee celebrated 170 years. This MPS District or Organization, is now 170 years young.

I went to the All-Alumni reunion Tuesday night, the day after the Milwaukee Bucks beat the LA Lakers with Kobe Bryant’s last game in the city. And almost hundreds of folks had gone in with the old school High School Colors of North Division, South Division, Pulaski, Marshall (my alma mater), Washington and others. The largest and most obvious to show up: Tech. The oldest alum had shown up from 1938, with a 1949 grad whom is ready for it’s 67th Anniversary of the 1949 Reunion for North Division. The generations collided with new friends, old friends, connections, and most of all: getting us Alumni connected to rekindle our old schools with new energy.

In the middle of the program, MPS Superintendent, Darienne Driver, Alumni Coordinator T.R. Williams, and even Mayor Tom Barrett all acknowledged us MPS Alums for coming out, and also to continue to do the thing we do most: Give back to our old schools! Plus also in the program, there was a acknowledgement of Sweaters and Jackets. Now for you younger bloggers, our elders in High Schools used to wear sweaters that have their names on them, plus chevrons, years, pictures and also medals. Now as we know, it’s mostly Jackets. And my customized (and I mean customized) Band Letterman Jacket from Marshall was noted as a contender! Yep, I showed out with it! And yes bloggers, I have a Band Letterman Jacket that I wore in my student years at Marshall. It’s a Customized Jacket that looks like a Varsity Jacket, but on the front, it had the “John Marshall Band” lettering with the medals and pins that I wore in school. Also it had my name with the Band patch underneath. And on the back, it had the “Milw.Marshall Eagles” patch along the back. Plus on the sides, I had two chevrons and a long waited 95 that I wanted so bad to customize. All were in the school’s colors of Columbia Blue and Scarlet. So yes, it’s been acknowledged. And long ago, it was a mixed bag, but I repped the school with that mixed bag!

And the event concluded with some of us doing some dancing, and showing out infront of the news cameras!

Plus I ran into my classmates and connections that I know on a MPS level. Even former Administrators or aides whom are current principals. And family members, community, and former church members all connected with the Milwaukee Public Schools. From the 1940’s to the 2010’s.

Overall, this first event of an All-Alumni Reunion was SO SPOT ON! I know many have individual reunions or small reunions, but this All-Alumni Reunion was so needed to have a new diverse spark. With all the stuff that happens in the city from Carjackings, Unemployment, Racism, Killings in all, yes America: Milwaukee can have one night of joy without anyone getting killed or going home in a casket after a carjacking. Do you hear me?!

Most folks would probably denounce this event, but like many times you need to step out and try. This was the first, the VERY FIRST Alumni Reunion for us MPS Alumni folks. And hopefully, this should continue. So as an MPS Alum, from 38th Street School, Jackie Robinson Middle School and John Marshall High School it’s a pleasure to come out and party!

Even as an introverted black guy.

I am #MPSProud, lifetime member of the #MPSForeverFamily, and #MPSAlumni!

Side note: the event has additional pictures via the Milwaukee Public Schools website and Facebook.
