Disclaimer: I am not a member of the NAACP. Be advised.

I have to share this video. Mostly it’s for the African-American folks. Our people have fought, bled, and died for our right to vote. I’ve read on various sites via Social Media, and in person that some of our folks don’t vote. Basically, I’m pushing the thought of getting out the vote HERE! We know that the Presidential race is coming up, and some of us may not be ready to cast that ballot.

If you are not ready to vote, you are not ready to be counted. Those in my opinion that don’t vote, will do most of the complaining by the next day or so. Even with that, if you want more reasons to vote, take a look at this courtesy of the NAACP:

Just a thought: voting is an American Right, but also and “American Responsibility”. If anyone wants to have a reason to ask the question, why should I vote if I don’t want to, well when you became an adult, it’s just like one of my relatives once said, responsibility goes up! No excuses: get registered, re-registered, update your contact info, names, address, city, state, zip, and/or polling locations.  =- And this goes for those who are non-black also. I hate to say it, but it’s a thought.

Like the minister said: “WE’VE BEEN THROUGH TOO MUCH!” He was on point.

“You don’t make progress by standing on the sidelines, whimpering and complaining. You make progress by implementing ideas. ” – Rep. Shirley Chisholm (1924-2005)
